my high school friend brought her sweet baby Daisy over for some photos.
Category Archives: photographyshe was just a perfect little doll.
so pink and soft.
her mommy has the exact same picture with her two older sisters, Violet and Iris…
with the lamb's wool and naked booty at 4 months old.
she was a little rolly polly…just so sweet.
i wanted to hold her all day.
after we got the photo to match her sisters'
i brought out the pink!
scrumptiously sweet!
it looks like a old vintage card for a baby shower….without a stork.
i love taking pictures of babies!
you get to squeeze and snuggle them when you're done.
thanks for sharing your daisy with me.
alright, you just made me feel like a kid again. Someone recommended your blog for “color”. They were right! I love bright colors and these photos are great antidote for winter blahs. š Oh, my friend made that cute snowman ornament! Michelle Allen, she goes to my church…and oh, so talented! It’s funny, because I’ve thought to myself before that you and she are both so creative, and I thought that might like some of her ideas. SMall World! love love LOVE these! I would have been angry and stayed in bed for years but they thanked God for each day they had him and continue to win people to the Lord each day….amazing people who raised an amazing boy to see Jesus. You are in my thoughts sweet girl…you are loved, you are special, you brighten so many of OUR days by your honesty and open-hearted entries. I am so sorry for the heartbreak of loss in your life. Love always, Sara Soaking it in… I am so sorry to hear about your friend’s child. So so sad. That did feel good… your last post SOAKED in deep… through our pores… well that definitely made my day brighter. L.O.V.E. the pictures, and love how many there are. well that definitely made my day brighter. L.O.V.E. the pictures, and love how many there are. you are quite the talented photographer. i especially love the shots of the balloons and the children’s books. your photo’s are so playful and imaginative. i feel better already. great photos meg. love talby with no teeth. and the one of lauren and waffle – that’s adorable!!! Aw Meg, you are a faithful girl. I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Childhood cancer is one of the things on my list to ask God about when I get to heaven. There’s just no understanding it in this world that’s for sure. I’m sure you and your family are being a wonderful support for your friends and sometimes that’s the only thing you can do I suppose. Thinking of you, hoping you find some peace in your heart soon. Im happy now! Yippy! aw, meg…. praying for you and your neighbors. I have the same sunset picture! and I love the picture of your puppy in the frame, and your beautiful teen! great way to capture both! it sounds like you are going through a rough time…my prayers are with you….keep focusing on the little things, like sunsets and toothless smiles! OMG… I love that picture of your daughter and your dog! AWESOME! That alone makes my day MUCH brighter! Hope yours is too! So Sorry to hear of your loss. the cupcakes did it for me š LOVE all the color!!! And want to know something sooo funny…or at least I think it’s funny…I have THREE of the same rolls of wrapping paper that you have in that picture š Great minds like the same wrapping paper I guess š Have a great Monday…I am saying extra prayers for your neighbor’s son. God bless them. The colors are wonderful! Though my fav is, of course, Waffle. That dog just has so much character! Ah, thanks! Love the one of your dog! Not to change the subject, but I was going to make your recipe for Chicken Tortilla soup this week and I was hoping you could tell me about how much (1) ‘jar’ of enchilada sauce is? LOVE LOVE LOVE the photo of Lauren and Waffle! Priceless! Love every single picture!! So fun. Thanks for the shiny start to the day. Meg, You’re totally right. That DID make me feel good! I so needed that this morning. I can’t help but smile. These are beautiful pictures… full of imagination and whimsey… pretty darn colorful to me…made me smile and get hungry to…those cupcakes look so yummy…can i have one or two, heck all of them? Megan, I’m in love with this picture post, I soaked in all of the color and feel much better!! Thank you for that. thank you for the colorful images <3 Drew thought that picture of Talby was hysterical. He couldn’t stop laughing over it. š Amazing pictures little lady! Cheers to you. Happy Monday! I’m sorry for your loss, Meg. So sorry for your loss. My condolences to his family. On a brighter note all of your pictures are great. My favorite has to be the one of Waffle and his red bow. What a nice way to start a Monday. I Like the photo of all the children’s books. We have many of the same ones. Classics. Children’s literature is one of the joys in life. Love those red shoes not to mention those cupcakes YUMMY! Beautiful pictures. So sorry for your loss. cancer sucks… it’s the worst 7 I hate when it claims a innocent child, my prayers go out to your neighbors. I could never imagine the pain they are feeling!! Meg.. You are wonderful and I so enjoy your blog.. I meant door not board. Is that a chalkboard on your board? Is that where you leave notes before you go out the door so you don’t forget? Pretty neat idea….I may have to steal that idea from you but yet I am sure if I tell my hubby I am going to buy chalkboard paint and put it on our door he will think I ma crazy. Maybe I can work on him! I’m so sorry for your loss. Cancer is a bad, bad thing. I lost my mom to cancer when I was 15. She was only 39. Six years later one of her closests friend who stepped in to take care of her and us while my mom was sick passed away from cancer as well. I hate it too. With everything inside me. Happy Happy Day! Your photos are so uplifting! Love, love, love the photo of Lauren and Waffle! Thank you for the color. I’ll probably be back for another dose later today. okay, weird, but I typed that comment twice because I didn’t see the first one. thanks for the brightness! It sure helps. Thanks for the brightness! It really helps……… Your photography always makes me happy! Iām sorry for the loved one that died in your life. Cancer surely is a tough disease, losing a child is even tougher. May the Lord give you comfort in knowing he is in a better place and no longer in pain. I will keep you guys in our prayers. your blog is a highlight in my day. beautiful, happy pictures. thanks. I think Picasso said it best: “Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions.” Thanks Meg….I can’t even sleep my heart is so heavy. Your pics are always so cheerful. I hope you are finding peace in all of this sadness, I know you are feeling it from several directions. all those bright beautiful colors! i hope that brought some sunshine to your day. they made my heart smile… so thanks š Thank You for the bright end to my day. baby ike.
he is going to be something special with that name.
what a sweet little guy he is.
i am planning on holding him every chance i get.
don't you just want to kiss those toes?
i love kissing baby feet.
he's smiling.
and my favorite….
that face! he looks like he wants a kiss!
thanks for spending the morning with me missy.
i am already in love with mr ike.
I just want to say that your pictures are beautiful. I wanted to email you but I couldn’t find your email address anywhere on the blog…lol. Anyway, I was just wondering on how you price for the photos? I am currently thinking about starting this wonderful career of photography but, I don’t know much on how to price. Do you do special package deals? Is there some specific sites that you have gone to for information? I was wondering if you would share some ideas or advice, from your personal experience??? yes? Thanks! So does Clint make that kissy face at you often, Jenn? Maybe you should talk to Missy about that?! š His toes are absolutely edible. I can’t wait to kiss our little girls toes and her tender little head. Seeing Ike makes our soon-to-arrive bundle of joy seem a little more real. Thanks for sharing. i am in baby love with ike…i’m not gonna lie! i too lvoe those baby toes! I LOVE LOVE LOVE baby picuters. Of course. I could be biased since I had a baby 3 weeks ago. But that is one cute baby! How adorable Oh great! Now my womb is achy… I think I need another one. wow! i THOUGHT i was done… I saw Missy kiss him on the head last night and I just melted inside. I almost forgot those days of tiny baby heads and complete dependence on me. Thanks for the reminder Missy. What a beautiful baby boy -the pictures are amazing. I have loved reading your blog this past month. It has become a favorite to check daily. precious! oh my goodness gracious me my… seriously… can he be any cuter… could those pictures be any better! NO! I love that baby! Why is it that when my youngest turns about 13 months old….I want another baby? Gosh, they’re so sweet. Ike makes me want another….I don’t think our pocket book could handle it. You did an awesome job with these pictures, I LOVE the one of him in the basket on the table. I showed it to my almost 4 yr. old little girl and she about had a fit of ooooo’s and ahhhhh’s. {she loves babies, she about squeezed her baby brothers head off when he was born} š Oh my goodness, he made me completely and hopelessly baby hungry! you should totally enter this in the ‘iheartfaces.com’ kids’ faces contest. it is too cute! i want to eat him up, or have another baby, hmmm… Oh how I love polka dots! oh dear goodness! so soft and sweet!!! what a doll. those blue jeans just melt my heart. you know, feet are only cute on babies and toddlers. kissable cute. I think he looks like Clint in the last one š Oh he is so precious – I can’t wait to hold him. Beautiful pictures Meg. It almost makes me want to have another – shhhhh don’t tell Russ. They will love having these pictures. these are just gorgeous, stunning. great work! Oh my gosh, those feet are delicious. What a beautiful baby. And I just adore that first picture of him in the basket. ohmeetoo! I am in love. i keep seeing all these babies. everywhere babies. my hubby says no more. i say just one. one more just like this one. i miss having a baby to snuggle. love the red background and red outfit photo!! can you say PRECIOUS?!?! Hi Meg this was different for me.
i haven't photographed such a big group before.
they stand so still just waiting to be told what to do….
and grownups smile when they are supposed to….how nice!
so different from children.
the cutie in the pink vest was talby's kindergarten teacher.
and also cora's mom.
talby got to come along with me for this session so she could spend some time with her.
there was a new grandbaby….named tripp.
isn't that adorable?
they put the baby in his stocking!
his sister got to hold him and kiss him….so sweet.
and she was rewarded with candy.
this one made me laugh out loud when it came up on the screen.
she was trying to get everyone smile like they 'd done for her…shaking that rattle.
but she ran right in front of me.
it's not good for me to be around babies.
i just want to keep them.
i come home and ask for another baby but craig keeps saying no.
i guess i was lucky just to get waffle.
he is just yummy.
and this one is in just to keep it real.
this is how it goes for my family so i am always happy to see we aren't the only ones.
trying to get pictures with little ones gets tricky.
this was a fun day.
thanks kathy for asking me…i'm glad you like them.
looking forward to next year. :)
I enjoyed looking through blog as I am remembering this little girls face (Cora). You are a beautiful photographer. I was sad when I came to this big family photo….. out of all the pics I have seen of Cora, this one hit me the hardest, because it is a picture and a family that will never be the same. But also because I see her face and I see NOW in that picture, was a very sick little girl, and nobody knew it or could help her. Beautiful family…and great pics that you capture! super job meg. i love the outside one in the playhouse. Um, could you just drop by Portland, Maine sometime this week to take a few shots of my new baby? The photos I’ve taken of her are nowhere near as nice as these. Please? I’ll make lunch and provide good coffee. What a beautiful family! Tripp is super cute! Yea, I’m done with babies though š My little Mac dog is all I can handle these days š Beautiful photos of course š REALLY great! i can imagine that would be bit difficult… getting everyone “right”… not for you… you captured them so well Meg! and WHAT a BEAUTIFUL family… my goodnesss… ALL of them are so pretty! Meg- You did a great job. Those pictures came out great- even the, maybe especially the, “keeping it real” ones ! Your photos are gorgeous. And so is baby Tripp. I wanna babysit. š The pictures are great! I love the first one. My mom is SOOOOOO happy with them! Your photography is awesome Megan. I am so glad you brought Talby too. She is a sweetie. It was fun to see her. Thanks again…I can’t wait for you to take Cora’s pictures again. :o) Those pictures…and my two friends at church due ANY DAY make me want a baby NOW! Love the pictures. That baby is just PERFECT!!!! As far as Craig saying no to another baby I was always taught since the women carries and takes care of the baby mostly it is up to HER!! lol…Seriously, if you got pregnant would he say…Crap, no way! lol….I say, have no regrets and if you want another…have another! i love it! great large group pics! how in thw world do you ever get the adults to shut up and not talk and only smile!! i can’t get my dad or my hubs to do it. That first picture is awesome! I can picture it blown up huge over a fireplace! You did well for your first large family – they aren’t easy to do!! What a good looking bunch. You did a great job! What wonderful picture’s Megan, I bet that was a fun and busy day! what a nice looking family š |

You might like this site: http://labs.wanokoto.jp/olds
It is a Japanese site which allows you to convert photos to vintage (cool) If it is in Japanese when you go to the site just click on “English” in the top right corner!
I think some of these baby pics would look cool in vintage
