Craig told me today that Sean has not been present on the blog yet. I quickly defended myself “he doesn’t like to be in pictures!” But I do want to make sure no one forgot about our middle child. Sean is 6 years old. He is in kindergarten and is learning how to spell words and read. He brings home one or two of these pages a week with the big picture and a sentence he wrote himself underneath. This one says:
“the boy is gooean uawt on udat. the boY is eat eanu burefiscs.”
(translation- the boy is going on a date. the boy is eating breakfast) How cute is that? I just love to see him learning so many new things.

What a nice birhtday. The first time in many years that i felt Lauren really liked her gifts. good to see her so happy. I took the kids and my grandmother to my parents’ house for the weekend. Craig stayed home – stripped wallpaper & watched the super bowl. We all enjoyed our time. Especially the swimming. Sean went down the BIG slide by himself! Big time stuff. i didn’t get a picture though – too scared to bring my new camera to the pool. But I was very proud. we are the proud owners of 6 tadpoles. After the major hot dog tantrum she was cheesing it up for Dad.
