the office

i am grateful for craig's job.

for many many reasons.
one of the reasons is the family employee party every year!

this year's party was at The Alley.
we love this place but as a family of 7 we don't get to come.
we just can't afford it.
but once a year we get to do something really fun with craig's co-workers.
it's so cool to get to say "Yes" to everything for one afternoon.
go-karts? YES!  more tokens? YES! more pop? YES! more go-karts? YES!

when sean wasn't bowling, eating pizza, getting refills on dr.pepper
or begging to go to the arcade….
he was spinning upside down in the chairs.
even the chairs are fun here!

daddy the go-kart racing rock star.
"high five me! high five me!" they screamed every single lap.
these are his groupies.

just what every 3 year old needs.
a dollar sign keychain covered in bling.

lauren used all her tickets on plastic necklaces.
(yes she was fully participating with us and we really enjoyed it!)

and how well they treat their families.
them's good people.

Liz - Loving those necklaces!

Munchkins and Music - Well, I’m not sure if my last comment posted or not…looks like you all had fun!

Munchkins and Music - Yeya gangsta! J/K! It looks like all of you were having a blast! Fun party!

katie - OMG….the look on your older daughters face is SO TEENAGER!!! i love it! love the bling! and just an idea…save it for halloween. my daughter was a “candy rapper/wrapper” for halloween last year. she wore a sweatshirt with candy glued to it, a hat and all that bling! it was great!

Shanan - Love the pictures and LOOVVEE the Bling!

Aubrey - Where does Craig work so I can get my husband a job there?
I was catching up on posts–you took the picture of that huge, narky spider with a lens like NASA uses right? Yikes. Love all your raindbow colors–they make me want to repaint the entire house. Maybe I’ll just make some pillows too.

Deb - Oh, what FUN! These are the times I miss dh working for a big company. He won trips and cruises and dinners everywhere fine!

Suzanne - i think we’ve won that dollar sign blinged up keychain before! too funny…
meg’s birthday mexican chicken JUMPED it’s way onto our list of favs! annie had 3 plates that night and another last night(we had leftover night) and I ate it for both dinners & lunch…too, too yummy!!
keep the recipes comin’!

midwifeliz - I love, love those pix. Especially the one of your daughter holding up the tickets. Great angles..
My hubby’s co. doesn’t do ANYTHING at any point during the year for the families.
That always bums me out for some reason.

Ashley - YoYoYo! $$ necklaces!? Sweet! And I love the picture of the kids reaching out for daddy! You are GOOD!!
Oh, and nice Kansas lingo there at the end! Ha!

Nichole - My boyfriend works for a tire sales and service company based out of Oregon, Les Schwab. They have really good employee benefits, pay the guys well, but they don’t do anything like this! Wow! Take full advantage of that!! :]
We get – holiday dinners at a pizza buffet for the guys and their significant others…and once a year…FREE BEEF WITH TIRE PURCHASE!
The founder of the company owns a cattle ranch.

chris - You are fortunate , my husbands co doesn’t do nottin’
I am so glad Lauren had some fun WITH you , look at her skin, oh to have that young teenage skin, I never knew what people meant when they said that when I was young , by having good skin , now I get it they mean compared to old skin , it just not the same after so many years.

Peggy Rice - Hi Meg, it’s been a while since I checked in on your blog and I’ve missed it…(computer still down). I love seeing all the great pictures and pure joy on your kids faces, it so makes me miss home. You would never see that kind of energy in the middle of Paris. I also love that you are going to try photography! You will do great! Keep up the good work.

PamperingBeki - That looks like fun! Is it in Wichita? I’ve never heard of it.

kara - What a fun day!!! I’m jealous 🙂

traci - what an awesome day for everyone!! it looks like you all had a great time. love all lauren’s bling. and skee ball is my all time favorite. great pix!

mom - I love the picture of Annie bowling in a skirt!! Too cute. Looks like such a fun time. And congrats to Craig.

Amanda Jo - Ok, that is the cutest picture of Annie and her bling. Love it! That “what every 3 year old needs” comment cracks me up!
Glad you guys got to have such a great time out!
