i love this song.

 He is
jealous for me,

Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.

When all of a sudden,
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,

And I realize just how beautiful You are,

And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us oh

Oh how He loves us,

How He loves us all

And we are His portion and He is
our prize,

Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,

If His grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.

And heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,

And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,

I don’t have time to maintain these regrets,

When I think about, the way…

That He loves us,

Oh how He loves us,

 Yeah, He loves us,

his hair is different….
but i just love to listen to this song.

i hope you know how much God loves YOU.

Sarah S. - I love this song! My husband and I are on the worship team at my church (him: guitar/vocals, me: bass/bgv) and we played it this morning. I was actually just singing it in my head when I saw your post! 🙂 But I think my favorite part about it is hearing the congregation sing the chorus over and over. It’s so true!!

Leah - I agree with Sarah…Jesus Culture does a great version of this song. They rock out a tad more and I love it!

Lori - Great song! My favourite at the moment is “By Your Side” by Tenth Avenue North. It’s spoken from God’s point of view and just makes our relationship with Him seem even more real.

drives. me. crazy.
i LOVE the song except for that part.
now i just might have to see if they will sing it differently.
i like your version a ton better!!!

Jennifer - If you love this song you MUST listen to the original by John Mark McMillan…also you should google the story that inspired the song.

Megan - I recently went to a wedding and the bride walked down the aisle to this song. Before she entered, the pastor talked about how we are the bride of Christ and one day will go to Him. They wanted their wedding to represent that. He asked that we not stand until the bride passed our row. It was amazing to hear this song, see them represent Christ and to see the crowd stand as she passed. A beautiful picture of Heaven.

candace haymon - oops, forgot to paste the clip:
