i love the name sydney.
Category Archives: photographyit was always on my list for girl names.
i "met" sydney's mom shannon through a link.
i linked her…and she came over to see who was linking her.
i stayed at her scrapbook retreat home.
and loved it.
if you can get here with your girlfriends….you should.
i am going to do go back too.
she asked me to take pictures of her youngest daughter.
it was special girls day.
sydney was as smiley as could be and loved having her OWN pictures.
are you ready…because she is the cutest little blondie you've ever seen….
so happy.
the entire time.
oh it gets even better….
i couldn't stop clicking away with miss sydney.
she brought her dance costume.
it was A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.
her mom wanted some in her costume that would be very different
from the typical "dance picture"
i'd say we accomplished that.
shannon…i hope these are all you were expecting and more.
there are many many more to see.
i can't wait to get back to maple memories!
thanks.
with pics of my sunshine girl…. when you click on this it looks better.
all i can think of is the muppets….janice…yeah like fer sure man.
none of these are "awesome" but it's fun playin' over at picnik making them all different.

You inspire me to work on my photography skills! That is the cutest name ever. Love it. What a sweetie ! so i’ve been a “follower” or blog stalker, as I prefer to call it, for several months now. my question is how in the world do you get the amazingly large photo as a header? is that something that only typepad blogs can do? she’s gorgeous. just like her momma. 🙂 (sorry russ, i think she gets all the cuteness from jenn) OH! She’s a cutie! Kelly I was going to ask if you made her shirt then I saw the comment you posted. She is such a precious girl! very sweet…wish you could come by tomorrow to photograph my youngest who turns THREE! So cute!! Great photos! I “follow” your blog and love it! (always thought “follow” sounded stalkerish) anyway oh woman who owns the best house ever… I will be sweetly jealous until I am living in a character myself! That house should have a name! Anyway, I’m a SAHM in Texas who has been inspired by you! I have now started (last night) my typepad blog for just ME! I have a kid blog;)… thanks for showing us your best! Question: I’m waiting for supports’ response but does typepad let you type on your pics like you did on the 3rd floor post? If not what software are you using? I am the college graduate who took computer science twice… not too in the know about tech stuff! Also, what kind of camera do you use? Ciao~ Hi! I’m a follower of your blog and love your pictures! I’m looking for someone to take one year pics of my daughter. Do you run a photography business or just do it on the side for friends and family? BTW…we live in Wichita. Her mommy made her shirt. Jenn is much more talented than me on her sewing machine. she can make real quilts and bags AND even knows how to read patterns!! 🙂 Ooooh. my uterus has pangs. Oh, that curly hair!! that hair! so sweet. i see pom-pom trim and zig zag stitch so i’m also wondering if you made that cute shirt! what a gorgeous girly. Did you make her shirt?? One more reason I would love to be your neighbor!! That would be native Kansan. For the record, I’m not a state living oh so far away. Proofreading, smoofreading. Can I just say that your blog is such a breath of fresh air. I’m a native Kansas living oh so far away for the past two years. I just discovered your blog and love it. She’s a cutie pie! Did you make her shirt? oh boy was he busy. and very UNinterested in me.
but i had fun squatting down and chasing him around.
those eyelashes!
he will melt some hearts with those in about 15 years.
do you love those little teeth that one year olds have as much as i do?
his sister jumped in for a few pictures…with the bribe of ice cream after.
i would jump in a picture for ice cream too.
cappuccino chocolate chip in a waffle cone preferably.
"ok…ok…we're all done mason.
but wait.
go climb those stairs..maybe we can get a few more while he plays."
amanda…it was worth the last few minutes.
and this one.
oh my….he is too sweet…he should model for GAP…
he did a great job.
thanks for asking again amanda & dave.
i hope you got ice cream for yourselves…you earned it.
it's hard work getting pictures of a one year old!
Love his little flip-flops! Where in town are those awesome turquoise bricks?! Love the pics!! I just wish you could take some of my little guy! Are you coming to Florida anytime soon?? Those flip flops are great – may idea where they are from? Thought of you today when I went to Sonic to get myself some Cherry Limeade to BOOST my afternoon cleaning power. And now I have spent all kinds of time here instead of cleaning! BTW, Any idea how to get thee white slipcover on my couch clean? I am washing the “dog’s” cushion cover for the SECOND time now… Oh my goodness what a cutie!! I LOVE the ones on the stairs 🙂 Great job as usual Meg!!! I love it when the “oh wait, let’s do these really quick before we call it good” photos are the best ones! Unexpected surprise. Pure cuteness! meg, you did a fantastic job. he is adorable. i agree with you the last one is awesome. i envision a big canvas of that one!!! great pics meg! you’re awesome! I want to hire you to take pictures of my beautiful something to be. . . I have a gorgeous husband that has just agreed that maybe, just maybe we should have one or two of our own…..mostly just concerned that at least one could be photoged by your majesty! YOUR ARE AWESOWE! whether or not I can properly spell with two Great Danes sniffing my keyboard. You are so inspiring! Thank you so much!!! esp Those are fantastic shots and I totally agree with the Gap model idea. I can’t wait to see my one year old walking in flip flops…oh wait, I can’t wait to see my one year old walking in general. Love the pictures! I also love that he’s wearing flip flops! Who knew a 1 year old could walk in flip flops?! 🙂 Hi Meg! Your a popular lady!! You have some loyal fans who have nominated you (again)for an Awesome Blog 2009 Award! Come over to see what category they thought you should win. i wish you could do a shoot w/ my boys…i just love your pics. man…why don’t i live in kansas? you’ve always wanted to fly to alabama for a photo shoot, right? The flip lops just kill me. I love it. I can not believe he leaves them on. Little boys are so sweet and his little toes! Absolutely precious! He is seriously one adorable little dude! sweet sweet sweet….what a doll…can you call a little guy doll? maybe if you add handsome…anyway…what a cutie! The last one is IT!!! Great job – now go get some ice-cream. I love his curious little smile. What a sweetheart. Very cute! My sister is having a baby in September and we loved your pics of Jackson. That last one is just precious, I love your skills, you make the babies look even cuter in your pics! love that last one! I wish I had pictures like that of my boys when they were little. he is edible.
he was 12 days old.
and cute as can be.
i had to restrain myself from kissing him to pieces.
don't you wish he would wrap those little fingers around yours?
i thought we had to squeeze some of that wildcat purple in there.
and that wrinkly forehead is just too much!
babies spend 90% of their time sleeping like these pictures…
but the other part of their day crying.
so we got a few of that too.
ashley and adam….good work.
he is precious!
i think you should have ten more.
🙂
thanks for bringing him over ashley.
he was the perfect little model.

I’m sure it’s all Jackson, but your pictures always captivate me! I wish you took photos of all my babies and even now as kids. Want to come over? 🙂 Thanks for sharing. Oh what a precious baby! Love the pics! That’s it!!! I want another one NOW! I might be biased about babies, but these are maybe your best pictures ever! I had my heart in my mouth with the first photo – he looked like the cherry on top of a precariously stacked cupcake. Then I remembered that babies don’t roll at 12 days. Duh. Beautiful, beautiful. I could almost smell that newborn baby smell. Oh my gosh !!!!!!!!!!!!! He is so sweet. GREAT pictures!! I love the door one. He is sooo cute! He is precious. You have a real talent for photography, too. I love the crying picture the most. great pictures! i love the use of color & texture! he is precious! I COULD JUST BITE HIM!!!
