this month Kimberlee and I had Amy & Jenny for our helpers.
we laughed so much.
these are awesome women… i am so thrilled to get to hang out with great ladies every month!
the swag that comes in for each CW is always amazing.

this group….they were a unique blend that meshed so well.
i love seeing who God brings together.  
we stamped burlap and made them into pillows.
and we made pom poms with all those yummy colors of yarn.

one of our guests has a Popcorn Shop!
she brought some for us to enjoy and OH. MY. WORD!!!
we could not stop.
none of us.
we ate and ate and ate.   CRAVE is such a great name for it too!

Kimberlee made lots of new recipes this weekend.
everything was delicious…. seriously… unbelievably good.there was so much treasure to be found on our field trip.
everyone came back with something cool!

 Jenny taught us how to use a scroll saw and how to make really cute signs.
I mean… REALY cute!
ruffle aprons for days.

the 2oth Craft Weekend All Stars!
A wonderful group of women from all over the map… crafty ladies through and through.
they had each finished their aprons and were in bed before 12:30 on friday?!!
how did this happen?  it was awesome.we made the cutest bunting with baker’s twine, washi tape, old spools and felt ball from our super cool sponsor Felt Foxes.
i reeeeeeeally wanted this buffet to come home with me.
the horns…no.   but the buffet… YES!
i love the big chunky glass knobs.
and you know that i would paint it… of course i would!  🙂we worked all saturday evening on fun projects that used lots of decoupage and glitter.
glitter is so fun.
i don’t care how messy it is.
everything is happier with glitter.
we made the wrapped wreaths again with the hellos from the Say Hello Shop.
everyone makes such neat and unique combos.
you can see their personality come out on these projects.
what great women!!

our helpers this month were Jenny & Rachel.
Rachel is Kimberlee‘s cousin and came last year.  So fun to see her again!
Jenny is a friend of mine that i met WAY back in 2010 at the Coca Cola Social Media Trip.
Jenny has a great blog and i do mean G R E A T!
watch her videos… she is hilarious.

I was so happy to have met all these girls.
so glad we could get crafty… eat yummy food… shop for treasures… and laugh together.
there is not a happier group than the ladies at Craft Weekend.

Craft Weekend Twenty.
so crazy that we have done so many!
i am wrong… it’s only nineteen.  oops.
they are all so good… each different… all  A W E S O M E.

kimberlee and i picked up our helper Trish at the airport on thursday night.
we took her to Chipotle for a quick dinner and then said “are you ok with going to hear a lecture from a priest who works with gang members in L.A.”  she was down with it so we went to hear Gregory Boyle speak on his book and life.  Thanks for being cool Trish.  🙂

then on friday my kids were off of school so i had to be home while these three worked hard at the craft house.
when i got there all the set up prep was practically finished!
i got started making the margaritas for our guests.  🙂
not quite that quickly but almost!  Rock star helpers Trish and Sally for sure!
and Kimberlee is always on top of it.

michelle at close2myart sent her new shopping bags for our guests!  they are my new favorite thing.
this was a quiet group who was very skilled with the sewing machines.
they knocked their aprons out quite quickly on friday night.

on saturday we had an extra stop for shopping at Kerry’s Barn Sale.
we enjoyed lunch there and a cupcake.
coconut creme for me obviously.
the shopping was super!
we headed to Bearly Makin It and their barn after Kerry’s sale.
show and tell of everyone’s treasures back at the Craft House.
i pretty jealous of Tracey’s score of the big jars filled with trims and sewing notions….
kimberlee makes such crazy good food every time.
i mean… come on…  individual Chicken Pot Pies??!!
and not only were they completely adorable… they were SO YUMMY.
she made Pam’s Cheesecake and Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce for desserts.
there are no such things as calories at the Craft House.
they don’t exist…. tell me this is true…. please?

trish led a project of cute hoop art that could be for a picture or just to hang on the wall.
aren’t they sweet?we made covered button bracelets… every one is SO CUTE!
the Say Hello Shop sent their wood bunting as a sponsor.
they are all so fun to see how everyone makes them unique.
we used scrap fabric and chalkboard paint.

Benzie Design sent her super amazing felt for making these Hello pillows.
the combos that everyone used and the details they added were so creative.

these ladies were all so special.
i loved meeting each of them.
Craft Weekend is a lovely break from the routines of everyday life.
these ladies are fed delicious meals… don’t have to clean up afterwards… get to create for hours with tons of supplies… get to sleep in… go shopping…. and create some more… while making new friends!
CRAFT WEEKEND ROCKS.
yep.
we are dorks.
i sure do like working with that lady.
we have the most fun.

kimberlee and i were given handmade slippers and we were pretty giddy about it.
aren’t they SO sweet?!

such a crafty bunch of ladies!
they just kept adding beauty to everything they made.

just as we were about to take our group picture Amy injured her ankle.
we got ice and water and she was soaking it to keep the swelling down.
it was a little crazy!  We thought it would help us all remember if we kept the bucket in the shot.
Amy you are a trooper!

kimberlee and i are loving the women who come.  we love being able to help them have some creative time for themselves.  loving to feed them crazy good food!  and of course we love taking them to the barn… it’s an experience!

i feel quite blessed to have met another 12 beautiful women this past Craft Weekend.
God brings such great people into my life.

these women were serious crafters, thoughtful shoppers and each so kind to each other.
you could tell that the friendships they had were true and deep.
i love seeing that in others….knowing they have a bond.
it is a happy sight.

i wish i had thought ahead and had made some of those fabric scrap chandeliers for my ice cream party!
they were each so fun!
they look so pretty in the breezy wind too!

my helper was Ashley… i love when she helps!
she crafts quickly, cleans up quickly and make sit all look effortless.  It is SO HELPFUL!
and i get to spend time with her while we craft… YAY!

for this Craft Weekend she brought her sister Lesley to be Kimberlee’s helper!
oh…. the food!
the food was so delicious!
i appreciate a yummy meal that has been prepared for me so much more than i ever used to.
what a gift Kimberlee has!
thank you Lesley for being by her side!  You were so much fun to spend time with!
