wednesday.

ok…today is better than the past two have been.
i feel relieved by that.
the pool is filling up.
the rain is gone.
the boys' nerf guns have been confiscated.
i think we are going to make it.

i received a shirt in the mail….and i love it.

IMG_1648
you can get them here at DOTS.
it is so soft and light.
i really really like it.
and i want to make cupcakes when i wear it.
i thought this one was cute too.

the porch is my favorite spot in the summer.
yesterday i set up memory on the bench/coffee table.
it took the entire top…and was hard to remember with such a long line of cards.

guess which set of matches is mine?
i told you it was hard for me.

———————————————————————————————————————-
some questions were asked about the summer list yesterday…i will clarify.

*WORLDS OF FUN is an amusement park with roller coasters in kansas city.
*PEPPERNUTS are little spice cookies…we love to eat them but i have never made them.
here is a website about them.
they are a mennonite thing…craig has mennonite
roots and so does our hometown.
*a BLOCK PARTY is a street party with our neighborhood (our block).
*the FROGGIE POOL is our public pool…it has a frog shaped slide.
*DEMO DERBY is the mud pit where cars crash into each other…that we pay money to watch!

we bought journals yesterday and the three youngest were so pumped about it.
they filled up the front already with stories and stickers.
very sweet.

Michelle Richmond - I love checking your blog every day. You show the good with the bad and always make me feel inspired to be a good mom. I wanted to post here to let you know you are looking fit and trim. You go girl!!! Michelle from Canada.

Lisa Currie-Gurney - MEG… YOUR THE BEST MOM YOUR KIDS COULD EVER HAVE!
HUGS FROM MAINE

chasity - i love the quilt that is on your front porch.

Andie - Love the shirt. But your hair is GORGEOUS!

molls - De-lurking to say Hi! from another Kansas girl (great grandparents lived in Walton) who LOVES peppernuts. I’m the only one in our family who still attempts to make them. I don’t even have the recipe that got me hooked – I like the tiny, dense version. But, I have found some good recipes out there that approximate the flavor, at least. I will say that it is always more tedious than I remember – so many tiny cookies! Make the dough and freeze half for later …

Kat - Love your list Meg which has inspired us to do our own here as two weeks of hols are starting in Tasmania, Australia. (about to start winter though, not a lovely long summer.)
I too have had a few of “those” days with my kids, so I can totally relate!
Enjoy your summer with your lovely family 🙂

paige - wish i could rock that funky short do like yours…i LOVE it!

Heather R. - Love the shirt! Love summer! You inspired us to make a poster this year. Skydiving is on it…yeah, not sure about that one. Where is the Demo Derby? We are in Leavenworth and got our Worlds of Fun passes :)! Have a great summer.

Molly Pearce - Your hair cut is rocking and so is the shirt! Now go make some cupcakes for your babies 🙂
~Molly P

myrnie - Love the oilcloth on your little table- I have the same print, in a turquoise background, on my kitchen table. LOVE IT- everything wipes right off, even crayons and pens 🙂

kristine - talby’s hair is adorable!

Charity - I grew up in Mennonite country, too, and LOVE peppernuts. I have this great little book, titled simply, Peppernuts, full of recipes. It’s amazing how many variations there are. Yum. We always make them around the end of November, so they’re ready and tasy for Christmas.

Anna Marie - We go to Worlds of Fun too :o) Do you ride all of those rides?

Heather @ Cookie Mondays - please send peppernuts 🙂

Jessica - My family makes peppernuts, too (but only at Christmas)! I love them so much, but I had no idea that other people even knew what they were. Haha. However, we make the German version of them.

Jessie Miller Sterling - Just wanted you to know I already made the teacher soaps. LOVE them! I once attempted my own blog, but yours is sooo much better, so I just read it instead! 😉 And if I get a cupcake shirt will I look as hot as you?? Hope so, you look awesome!

Jaime Melcher - Love your hair in that first picture! Super cute! …and the shirt says it all. 🙂

CAROL B - i’m a mennonite and have NEVER heard of peppernuts…interesting, i’m gonna check that out!

Megan Kohlman - Just in case you need the recipe for perfect peppernuts… Seriously. I’m not biased because my grandmas make them or anything.
http://thekohlmans.blogspot.com/2009/12/brr.html

dani - You look great! and I want your hair 😉

Melanie Shanks - I have followed your blog for a looong time – checking in nearly every day. I have to tell you – you look great! Your new ‘do is oh-so chic.

Vanessa {Bloom Right Here!} - Hello! I read your blog all the time, but I’m not sure I’ve ever commented. Sorry. Anyway, I see glimpses of your house/porch and keep thinking that my SIL and BIL lived down the block from you for awhile. They rented a house while they were building. If, in fact, you do live in the house I think you do – love, love, love it!

Courtney Walsh - i cannot describe how happy I will be not to have to search for uniforms and make lunches anymore for a few months!! ack! Bring on summer!

kari - I can’t wait to make our summer list – thanks for sharing! What a great idea!!!!

Kirsten - I gotta tell you – I’m getting my hair cut and wish I was brave enough to get such a cute sassy look –

Lori Danelle - I’m having trouble with peppernuts in the summer. To me, peppernuts ARE Christmas!! 🙂 However, I’ll still share our family recipe for them with you.
http://loridanelle.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-can-beginive-made-peppernuts.html
We make our first batch right at Thanksgiving time and keep turning them out until Christmas Day. I started bringing them into work and have everyone near me totally addicted to the strange little cookie with the stranger name that they never knew existed. My Grandma still sends me an ice cream bucket full every year as well!

Misty, Southern Belle Mama - Love the shirt!! Glad you led me to check out the site…I just bought the “Cupcake Queen” shirt. I can’t wait to get it in the mail! 🙂

Charlene - Now, I want a cupcake too!

Chris Harms - enjoying your blog. I make peppernuts (pfeffernusse) at Christmas time by the icecream-pailful. Some people roll them out, I use a piping bag and squeeze them onto the pan… not as uniform, but faster by far. Good luck with them! I’m going to attempt a summer list. Saskatchewan may not sport the biggest or fanciest theme parks or zoo’s, but I’m sure we can find a few ways to spice up the summer. Thanks for the ideas!

Cathy - Now I feel like I need to go find a recipe for peppernuts. My mom’s family are from Canada and have Mennonite roots.

Dana Banana - Love the list. Let’s demo derby together….and find a day to bring the kids to the pool here.

Kara Tait - Meg, I love your blog. You look fantastic. Your face is so skinny!

Kristi - I love the idea of a journal! Adding that one to the list that we came up with last night. My daughter is 11 and starts Middle School next year. I’m grateful to have this summer to bond with her before she moves further down the road to adulthood. One of the most exciting things we’re doing is Book Club. We’re still trying to decide on a book though. She wants Twilight and I don’t. ha ha

amy d - haha…it always amazes me what people have never heard of.
love the shirt!

Petie - Love that t-shirt! Your summer list has inspired…looks like it’s gonna be a fun one 😉

Lynda - what a great shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it……wish I could buy one of those here in the Netherlands!
Greetings
Lynda

benson - YOU look amazing and are rockin’ the shirt!!

Julie - I LOVE your porch! My kids do too ~ they want one! Looks like a GREAT place to hang out!

lifeologia - You look great in that first photo 😉
Memory games are great fun – it’s so cute to see kid’s faces so concentrated.
I did a little link love on my blog today with your site:
http://www.lifeologia.com/link-love/

jeny - when i grow up i want to be you (OKAY like, you) you are amazing (and beautiful), talented, and are blessed with a large curious family. i wish to be able to spend time with my babies. – that’s all i got, sorry so weird.

AshleyAnn - You are looking oh so sassy in that first photo. When we play Memory I always win. Granted my competition is ages 4 & 6. Bummer when they start beating me.

Dana@Bungalow'56 - What a wonderful idea: summer journaling for the young and old. The memory game is a favourite here but we’ve forgotten about it recently. Isn’t it amazing how the younger ones always win? The cupcake tee is a perfect gift for my best bud a half world away. Thank you for sharing it.

happy mail (part 2)

IMG_1948

i had a very kind email from stephanie last week.

she was sweet and full of compliments.  i clicked over to her link and saw her making salsa.

YUMMY.

i told her to send me some….and she did!

i was kidding.

but she did it anyway and it was such a treat for us.

we don't make our own salsa here so when we get the good stuff we are so happy.

THANK YOU stephanie.

it was so much fun to get salsa in the mail!

IMG_1941

then my order from uberstitch arrived.

i am LOVING the name UBERSTITCH.  you must say it with a swedish accent…like farfegnugen.

look at her packaging?!  the fabric is folded up so nicely and wrapped in a pattern.

with a map tag.

love. love. love it.

she had the fabric i have been searching for everywhere.

IMG_1944

school days handwriting.

it brings me pure joy.

it could be the best fabric EVER.

and the zebra fabric?  it's made by sis boom….another awesome site.

that jennifer paganelli is so talented.

with this fabric i am making pillows for the kitchen sitting area with blacks and whites.

the zebra print is going to recover a chair seat.

and more fabric came but this was from anna maria horner.

i just got the scraps.

that girl has some SUPER fabulous fabrics.

i would like to just sit in her studio and stare at it…for days.

IMG_1196

her branding is gorgeous.

polka dots on floral on another floral and swirly writing…be still my heart.

and this package came from patricia (an artist) from pve design.

another talented woman.

we are surrounded by them here in blogland….YAY!…you are fueling my creative fires everyday.

IMG_0498

it was a care package from one mom to another.

she sent 3 pretty dresses to my girls that her daughter had outgrown and a stack of magazine articles

on party themes to craft ideas to advice on parenting.

i felt like a very blessed woman.

you blog readers are so kind to me.

i love every comment you leave.

i appreciate every thoughtful word you say.

i smile every time you say i made your day.

thank you for letting me share my love of color here everyday…it's like free therapy!!

Chanel Handbags - IT IS hard to look at the Capitol in Washington, DC, without a frisson of excitement

megan duerksen - oh…sorry. 🙂

Alv - I think the accent you’re after is german, we swedes has nothing to do with über. 😉

Pineapple Princess - Whoa! Those look GOOD!
I think you’re a great mom.

Abby - That salsa looks so yummy!!
Believe it or not but I bought some Sis Boom fabric at Alco while I was back in KS, I love how they have some quilt store quality fabric at great prices.
I would love to have PVE do a painting of my parents home, might have to do that for their 35th anniv. next year.

Kristine Robb - mmmm i am totally jealous of your mail!
i am considering your colorful blog my “mail box” and just filling up on the free JOY!

pam - that TOTALLY beats the happy mail i was going to send. HA! 😉
i think it is soooo cool that people send you stuff. and that you can order just the perfect fabric online.
i LOVE the wrapped in a pattern idea. genius.
you are so loved meg! it takes a special person to be able to blog something like this and make so many people feel happy too. you have a gift!

Jennifer - Oh you are the best miss Meg!!!I must get you on my blog roll…love whenever you pop in!!

http://ksvincentfamily.blogspot.com/2009/08/way-late-wednesday-part-2.html

pve - Watch out, I will be sending my kids for you to photograph.

pve

Heidi Jo the Artist - Oh this salsa looks soooo yummy! I eat salsa almost every single day, yup that is how much I love salsa. 😉 I wanted to thank you so much for your happy things links besides your awesome blog of course. You always find the best links. My favorite of late is the miniature houses by Ana Serano and the small magazine. I am currently working on a project that has made me fall in love with miniatures! I have a feeling this small magazine might help me out a bit. If I get the project finished (hopefully soon!) then I will dust off the cobwebs and blog about it. Thanks for the inspiration!

Sarah L - I adore that school hand writing fabric – its too die for

Kat - you are so awesome, I love reading your blog. Thank you for sharing your love of color!

JerriR - Could write a lot but will simply say I love to read your blog daily!!!!!

Starnes Fam - Isn’t this a fun blogging world we live in? I love it. Not sure what I would do without it.
PS – love the salsa friend’s ode to Seinfeld in her blog post title.

Rach - I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… YOU GET THE BEST FABRIC EVER!!!

Angela - Awesome!!! Speaking of mail, did you get my email where I shared a link where another blogger made your rainbow cake for her son’s 2nd birthday? I got so hungry!! 🙂

Amy at The Red Chair Blog - What a visually appealing post! Pretty, pretty! Two things to share: #1. I was just–not 2 seconds ago–on the Anna Maria Horner site looking at those scrap bags before I clicked over here(insert Twilight Zone music here). #2. I love the IDEA of that school handwriting fabric, but seeing it instantly took me back to 2nd grade and my mean old teacher who constantly criticized my handwriting. Hmm.

Sarah - We must have the same “thing” about handwriting/lined paper, because that is to DIE for!!! I’ll have to get myself some.

Julia - Wow – you had a great mail day!

jennifer - There’s those polka dots I caught a glimpse of yesterday. Yeah! I love it!
And such fun packages. Loving all your color, as usual.

Ashley - Meg,
Thank YOU for sharing!

Sara Cameli - Hi Cutie, love your enthusiasm about packaging. I hear ya. Whenever I see awesome packaging it makes me soooo happy too! I am at school late for parents night, happy to have something fun to check on before the mayhem begins…

Tammy - Hooray that I don’t have to GOOGLE for great sites, I just check your site and *poof* I instantly have several others to add to my favourites and browse through over tea. Meg, hon, LOVE your posts. You rock my blogging world. 😉

Penny - Thank you Meg. You give so much joy from your blog. I just love when I see there is a new post!! Your photography is amazing! I am glad you have had a great mail week.

Kacey - Oh, your blog is like happy therapy for ME! I love to look at your beautiful pictures – and the bursts of color everywhere. Love it all! (I’m guilty of being a very occasional commenter – so sorry!)

elizabeth - Thank YOU for bringing color and happiness into each of my days!

adrienneK - oh such a happy post!!! that handwriting fabric is the cutest !!!!

Magchunk - Wow those are some great mail days! I recently hosted a craft supply swap on my blog, so I’m really looking forward to finding some fun packages on my doorstep soon! One of my fave blogs, Sweetie Pie Pumpkin Noodle, organized a penpal swap, so I love getting letters from my new penpal too!
Love all that fabric. I went a little nuts in the fat-quarter section of Artco the other day and I can’t even get my (mom’s) machine threaded!

Dana D @BoysMyJoys - I love all the fabrics!
We just made patchwork aprons this weekend. It made me think of some of your pillows while we were working on them!Your scraps would make a beautiful one!
It’s here: http://boysmyjoys.blogspot.com/2009/09/patchwork-apron-girls-weekend.html
Can’t wait to see the finished kitchen area 🙂

Joni - You sure did have some fun packages! I hope you all have a lovely weekend….to say farewell to summer!
XOXO
Joni

Staci - Man!! You win!! You DID have a great mail week!!!! Guess I’ll be checking all these lovely ladies out!!!! Thanks Meg! You bring UBER JOY to BlogLand =)

Summer

purejoy - love getting mail. it’s like a party in my mailbox.

pallie - Getting goodies in the mail ALWAYS makes my day/week/month…depending on what it is!
By the way, this is my first comment on here but I have been keeping up with your blog for a long time now. After all this time reading your posts, admiring your handiwork, ogling your photos and stealing your ideas, I wanted to let you know that I want to be like you. Seriously.

Heather - What awesome happy mail! And thank you for the beautiful pictures you post. They are a happy spot in my day!
Heather

Sarah - Awww! I love how kind people can be (even people you only know online). This world really is a beautiful place if you take the time to notice it. I’m loving the fabrics and the dresses! Too cute! I can just imagine Talby and Annie in them. The hot sauce looks great too! Everyone’s been blogging about salsa and other tomato-related things lately.

Aljolynn - Colors are the fruits of my life! So THANK YOU for bringing such color into mine. Totally envious of your packages!
I really need to learn how to sew.

donna - you need to stop posting the cute things you get…because I am one of those people who hear about something and buy it….so far I bought that cute purse that you blogged about a few months ago….and today i ordered a necklace from vintage pearl……..thank goodness i don’t sew.

Stephanie Carroll - You’re so welcome 🙂
I hope it was good!!

Kathy - Love Happy mail! I rarely get any mail here, it’s so expensive to mail even a card so other than bills I get zip! Love pve blog she is so talented. Can’t wait to see what you do with your new fabrics. Happy Thursday!

happy mail (part 1)

don't you love a good week of happy mail?

i love just one day of happy mail but a week's worth…that rocks.

first thing that made me happy….

jewelry from the vintage pearl.

oh my goodness -i am loving it!

IMG_0435

i have never had any jewelry with names on it…erin hooked me up!

i now own a necklace that says meg & craig.

because that is just so very ME.

IMG_0443

i love it.

it feels so high school musical.

or ELF…"i'm in love! i'm in love and i don't care who knows it!"  (click here if you want to see that clip)

with my necklace it's like i am announcing it to the world.

don't worry…i love my kids too.

IMG_0448

my kids like this bracelet even more than i do.

it is so special to them.

they touch it and ask to see their names…feel their name.

and that makes my heart just swell up….aaaahhhhhh.

IMG_0451

and erin just knows me. (even though she doesn't in real life)

she must know that my most favorite font in the entire world is this one.

especially when it's not in a perfectly straight line.

OR…maybe it's her favorite too so that is why she uses it.

yes that's probably it.

but she has other fonts too…if you like that.

and i saw one more necklace on her website that i had to have.

IMG_0457

a sewing machine charm?

serious cuteness.

this one makes me so happy….i know you love as much as i do…how could you not?

her website is easy to use.

it's beautiful to look through and very hard to choose a favorite.

some of my other favorites…

Vp

i first found the vintage pearl on today's creative blog.

she's on the featured list.

she is a photographer too.

she has a great since of color.

i think if you go on over to erin's site…you'll be there for awhile.

read about her.

buy some jewelry from her.

leave her a comment to make her smile today.

🙂

more happy mail to come….stay tuned.

Vera - LOVE these!! I have had one of those charm name necklaces planned out forever – I’m waiting for this baby to be born so I’ll have all of my kids’ names for the charms (and I want the tiny pearls for the babies we never got to meet)… I can’t wait, it’ll be my mother’s day present to myself next year 🙂

Melanie - By the way…where’d you get all those beaded bracelets you are wearing in the bracelet picture? Those are gorgeous, too!
~Melanie
http://www.melathome.blogspot.com

Abby - As soon as this baby boy is born (in either Nov or Dec) I am requesting the Dainty Drop necklace, if that is all I got for Christmas I would be one happy mommy!

DreamGirlLisa - Love that jewelry! I am thinking of one for myself w/ my girls names, and one for my sis, I think she’d love it! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Grace and peace, Amy

Kyleigh - Ooooooh… request placed with my husband, maybe I’ll find a lovely ‘kyleigh & g’ necklace in my Christmas stocking? Hope so, thanks for the link. Nice big old red boot header too!

kristin - alrighty, placing an order this morning.
by the way, totally random:
i had a dream last night that lauren and i ended up visiting in her room for HOURS. she was mature, logical, level headed, funny, kind, considerate. it was such a realistic dream, other than i don’t think she has 2 bathrooms in her bedroom.
just thought i’d give you that image. : )

pve - I hope you get a tag for your Grandma.
These are great….wait til you see mine….
A friend made it for me.

Sarah - I’m thinking Erin might be really busy for awhile…she deserves to be that’s for sure. Can’t resist that necklace with the cute little hearts…do you think 5 hearts would weigh my neck down too much? I think neck muscles might be just what I need.

kat - I love her shop. I have been contemplating several pieces for a few months now. It’s just so beautiful. I love your choices. That necklace is too cute and your bracelet is precious.

shelly - Cotton headed ninny muggins! I want one too!!! Love the other jewerly too…where did you get that?

whatever works.

monday

i kicked monday in the behind.

i asked my friends to pray for me to be able to focus on my etsy orders.
focus and finish this week.

and yesterday rocked.

IMG_5760
not only was i focused on my orders (7 pillows in one day…)
i made dinner by 1:00 and an extra for the freezer.
i did many loads of laundry
and washed two dishwasher loads by hand.
(my dishwasher BROKE)

prayer is awesome.
thank you friends for praying.
"i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me….Philippians 4:13."
and i can still use that prayer today and tomorrow also.  :)

Happy Easter!

mama’s got a brand new bag…

i couldn't help myself…the title was too fitting.

so CHECK IT OUT!
elisa of ElisaLou designs hooked me up with the prettiest purse!

IMG_4744

i get compliments everywhere i go.
yesterday someone said "i was coveting your bag when i saw you walk by…i had to see it."
while in the stall in the bathroom someone saw it on the chair and said "whose cute bag?!"
and at a party it was not near me and someone said "look at that bag…i love it!"
i have given out many of her business cards.

i absolutely love this bag elisa.

IMG_4740
look at those polka dots!
her bags are handmade and so well done.
i love the long strap…the coordinating lining….the pockets inside.

IMG_4727

what a nice burst of spring it's bringing (trying to…snow boots go away) to the entryway.
the birdie hooks are happily holding it for me.

here are some of my favorites from her website….

Elisaloucollage

but the BEST part is….you pick your fabrics!
first you pick the shape and size…
then you pick from her MANY choices of fabric.
you get to be a designer.
and then she makes it for you!  just for you…a one of a kind…YOUR purse.

you will love it.

and she has a great blog too…beautiful big pictures that make you happy.

now get over there and find the purse of your dreams.

greetings from the craft room…

IMG_5585

moving right along.
watching shows on the dvr to keep me company.
i have watched 2 weeks of desperate housewives…
one brothers & sisters with 3 more to go…
two grey's anatomys…
one ER…

it's been fabulous.

and i have one of my weaknesses right next to me.

IMG_5587
robin's eggs minis.
i just love these yummy little guys.
it's okay…..because they only make them at easter…that's my rationale.

(if that's not true don't tell me because i don't want to know.
i like thinking they only sell them in march.)

back to work.

Emily in CLT - Robin’s Eggs are my fave!!! I’m on bag #4 in three weeks! I SO want some cute things for my girl! When will you post it all on ETSY? I can’t see your button – are you closed up for now?

Rach - OMG, Robin’s Eggs… YUM!!

Aubrey - Oh my soul! I love robin’s egg minis. And, like you, I pig out on them for six weeks solid and shrug it off by saying they are only an Easter delight!
And I love me some Brothers & Sisters, too. 😉

carissa... brown eyed fox - anyone who was lucky enough to snag one of your creations… lucky indeed!
too fun & FULL of love!!!!!!!!
peanut butter eggs ADORE my thighs in March !

Wendy - A fun craft room AND Robin’s Eggs? Some girls have just got it made! Now, did you bring enough Robin’s Eggs for everyone?

Beth - I can’t even begin to tell you how jealous I am of your craft room. I know you’re not supposed to covet your neighbor’s wife, but is it ok if I covet my neighbor’s craft room? I want it!

Sandy - Robin’s eggs – yum! I found out today my co-worker has a jar of them in her office. After I found out, I couldn’t walk past without stopping in to say hi (and get a handful, of course!). Enjoy the crafts, the dvr, the shows, AND the eggs! You deserve them!

adrienneK - oh happy craft room scene!:)

Sara - yeah, I love it when you eat so many of those eggs that the roof of your mouth is like sandpaper. Thats when I know have consumed like 12,000 calories worth. ha ha.

Niki - Those little eggs are evil, you cannot eat just a few. Once that bag is open look out…thank goodness it is only once a year or I would be as big as a house.

sandy toe - Oh Robin Eggs….oh yum~
sandy toe

julie - Cadbury Mini Eggs. Send me over the edge. Could eat them nonstop, bag after bag after bag. Dangerous!!!
Love the happy stacks of fabric, the rainbows… want your craft room bad.
More than I want Mini Eggs.

Laura - candy corn. don’t make me share.

Lanny Stanard - Megan I just want to come in sit right in the middle of your craft room you don’t even have to feed me! I just want to sit there!
Lanny:)

Laurel - I have kept those Robin Eggs out of my home so far this season. I can’t control myself!

Sue - Hi Meg!
I received the hoodie today in the mail and I love it! Thank you. Cora’s picture is gorgeous!!!
I love those mini robin’s eggs too. I’ve used your same rationale about indulging at Easter time as that’s the only time they sell them.
Much love from NJ,
Sue
xoxo

Trina - Those are going to be so cute!!!!! I have to admit I am a desperate housewives fan too.. it is just a guilty pleasure.. a nice escape from reality!
xx

Lee Ann - It’s SO true! In fact, it’s so true that I’m going to tell myself that and go buy a bag!

Jenn Thomas - Meg – do you think if I brought my projects to your craft room that they may magically finish themselves? Your craft room puts out a lot of finished products. 🙂

jennifer - Even your snacks are colorful!
Love it!

Trish - those fabric colors are so yummy 🙂 just ordered a bunch of new fabric for some new goodies for my shop too. can’t wait 🙂

Lisa - Wow Meg, I have the exact same line up of shows on my PVR to watch. Hmmmm I need a TV and PVR box in my craft room…lol
Take Care,
Lisa

Jill Adkins - How much fun!- I keep dark chocolate m&m’s beside me while I “craft”- and of coarse in the color of the season…am loving the pastel easter ones right now!

Stephanie Howell - that’s like me and cadbury mini eggs. i have a SERIOUS addiction. i’m a new blog reader, and i’m in love w/ your blog and your beautiful home. Thanks for sharing so much inspiration. xo

Lori - That’s how I feel about candy corn! I eat them once a year at Halloween. Usually in one sitting, until I actually feel sick, then no more til next year!

sara's art house - AHHHH- heaven! To craft and watch and eat 🙂

Kasey - Did you watch Nacho Libre?

kristin - i am so sorry not to give you even more peace and quiet this afternoon…eliza just told me, “how can my outside be cold and my inside hot?”
ugh.

Julia - how about sweethearts? Thank goodness they take them off the shelves after Valentine’s.

danyele - i love those stinking candies!!!!

Jen N. - I love stopping by to read your blog. You seem like such a happy, cheerful and interesting person. And if you are not, I don’t want to know 🙂 Oh and I love Robin’s Eggs. Thanks for brining them up, I need to put them on my list right now. 🙂

Angela Conklin - Oh My. robin’s eggs and Reese’s peanut butter eggs. Oh La La

Liz - Ok. Just looking at those mini-eggs is making me gain weight. I cannot stop with those. Or those chocolate covered marshmallow easter bunnies. Love those. 🙂
Thank you for your sweet comment yesterday, I really apprecaited it.
Hugs,
Liz

Cary - Oh, those are my favorite!!! Sounds like you’re having fun, can I come craft with you?

Suzanne - love those robin eggs too!! ooh…catchin’ up on all my favs…i think i’m all caught up, but was bummed that d.h. and bro/sis won’t have any new shows till april 19th!! so, you may wanna slow down, or you’ll run out:)
hoping you got my e-mail yesterday??? let me know what else i can do!
thanks, meg!!

sarah - yum.
I love those!
