Liz - Catching up on my favorite posts…. In my active wear.
Thanks Meg, for making me smile!

Jenn - My husband showed me this yesterday. Yes, its very funny!

Kristen - LITERALLY just sent this to all my peeps….and laughing WAY TOO HARD! Sending you love in my active wear, Meg, for making my day! 🙂

Miranda - BAHAHAHAHAHA. That is perfect. I’m typing this in my activewear.

friday fun stuff

i admit that most of the time i have the humor of a high school boy.
i love stupid humor.
(i do not love bathroom humor… that would be categorized as middle school boy humor)
SNL and funny movies are always going to be my favorites… always.
enjoy these two things that i liked this week.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9F86cAoi3o

“ya ya… best friends forever”

this one isn’t as funny as it is super cool.
what a great time they must have making these videos!

DUDE PERFECT…. they have a ton of videos like this.
your kids would love them.
AND obviously we aren’t being nearly creative enough with our outdoor play time.
it’s time to step it up Duerksen kids!

Also… did you know you can listen to Comedians on Pandora?
YES!
my favorite Pandora station is Jim Gaffigan.
DO IT NOW…. you will be ROLLING with laughter while you do the dishes.
you’re welcome.

(i wouldn’t listen it with my kids around though… just to be safe.)

Trysha - Jimmy Fallon will always make me laugh…especially when he teams up with JT.

Have you kids watched this video??

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MejbOFk7H6c

Ok Go is more than ok in our house. My kids love their videos.

Heidi Jo the Artist - Jim Gaffigan is one of my favorite comedians too! Thanks for the tip on listening to him on pandora. Have an awesome weekend!

colleen from Alabama - I discovered Jim Gaffigan when you posted the “cake” video. My kids love that. If you want to be able to listen WITH your kids, I recommend Henry Cho. He is a believer, and has a thing called the clean comedy tour. We saw him live and my abs hurt for the next 24 hours I laughed so hard. He is a really good stand-up comedian. Enjoy!

tinaehb3 - I love them both. And Justin Timberlake is always great in skits!

Dawn - Love Jimmy and Justin … hysterical!!

happygirl - I’m still laughing. Thanks for the pandora tip. I had no idea.

Kate @ Songs Kate Sang - did you know Dude Perfect is from Texas A&M? WHOOP!!!

Roganne - Oh. My. Word. How funny are Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake?!? Every time JT is on SNL it always ends up being my favorite show ever!

Sabrina - Gaffigan is on Pandora? Say What? I saw him live one time and after it was over, I seriously had an ab workout! I was laughing so hard. BACON.

And you can’t go wrong with Timberlake and Fallon.

Melissa - Aaaah- my 2 year old discovered dude perfect a few weeks ago on his youtube basketball wanderings! We love them! I wondered why I had not heard of them and now you are mentioning them 🙂

terrie - Those were both great!
I have to pass the Dude Perfect along to my son!
And I heard Jim Gaffigan on Laugh USA in the car…soooo funny!
I often listen to that in the car…I get tired of hearing the same songs on the radio.
And sometimes, you just need a laugh!
Thanks for a couple of laughs today!

Amanda - Jim Gaffigan in hilarious! I found him a few months ago on youtube… LOVE the McDonald’s bit. =)

Tracy - ok I just played Jim Gaffigan on Pandora….dying! Can’t wait to tell my husband about it!!!

Thank you!!!!! Have a great weekend!

Jenn - Love Dude Perfect and Jim Gaffigan! I bought my husband Dad is Fat for Father’s day. He hasn’t read it yet, so I might.

Lee Ann - I started to turn there, but it said “explicit material warning!” I’ve never heard that before. Is it clean?

Loved the videos!

quick post

what he says is "You wanna piece of me? I'll give you piece of ME!"

and the little girl hears her big brother say "you want a piece of meat…i'll give you a piece of meat

see her response….

my kids were watching America's Funniest Videos this week and this video cracked me up.

it's still funny 16 years later!

——————————————————————————————————————————-

then this is a new favorite that my kids watch over and over.

——————————————————————————————————————————-

craft weekend is here again.

i have been busy setting up this week.

the swag…. so good!

the crafts… SO FUN!

and i can't wait to eat whatever kimberlee prepares in the kitchen for me.
it is ALL so yummy.

tara - our house bursts into laughter when we watch AFHV.

Katey - My husband and I watched that video of how animals eat their food one night real late and we couldn’t stop laughing it was so funny. I’m glad it wasn’t just us that thinks its funny.

Kelly - The video of How animals eat their food is my best friends son! Too funny! We live in Nj and her son Ian on the left goes to Liberty University.

Kate - Oh my word. I think I just woke up Brian laughing so loud… it was the alligator’s fault.

Tiffany - You are about to bless those ladys’ socks off! I hope every woman leaves your house as thankful and blessed as I was! Enjoy your time so much! 🙂

Terrie - Loved seeing your beautiful SWAG on Instagram..makes me Instahappy!!
Did you watch the bloopers on How Animals Eat their Food? 🙂
Happy Crafting!!

my babies.

talby and scott were laughing SO HARD watching this old video they found of themselves and sean.
i couldn't breathe when i was watching it…i laughed so hard i cried.
it is crazy and loud and nothing happens but my kids are LITTLE and their laughing is so funny.
i mean both those boys are taller than me and much bigger now.

apparently they think getting their face IN the camera means they won.

and this is totally what spending some time with my kids can be like…. CHAOS.

no one was injured during the making of this video.

i think it's 4 years old.

oh boy.
they are so silly!

and now…. i am going to sit back and wait for Disney to call.
this has disney sitcom written all over it.

no?

are you sure?

ha ha ha

Jacci in Ohio - Hi! Hi! Hiiiiii!!!! Ahhhhhhgh!!!
ha ha.
that was very funny and strangely sweet. and familiar.

Tami - My kids thought this was hilarious. And they had to watch it more than one time. I have 5 too and they act exactly the same way. That is why they thought this was sooooooo funny.

Angela - Scott’s giggling is cracking me up!

Routhie - Had this been around when we were kids, this is exactly what my brothers and I would have done. We managed to be that loud without it, though. Love happy kids!

Stephanie - It’s not just us!! I laughed at your silly kids. These are the kinds of things that are SO annoying while they’re doing them, but hilarious a few years later. We have seven and I feel like this is my life every minute. Except its in my face instead of the video camera. Lol.

steph - i love that they don’t really do anything but laugh… hit one another… and say ‘HHHHHIIIIIII’!!!!
that is one hilario vid.
i’ll have to show my girls.
i might have to bookmark it.
LOL

Suzanne G. - OMG…How funny! My speakers are not working so I watched it with no sound and oh my word, this is hilarious! I like that even Waffle got in the action!

tinaehb3 - Talby has no problem holding her own with the boys even when in a choke hold, lol!!

Melinda George - It’s like playing the game King of the Hill only video style. 🙂

Lennie Jackson - Good times….good times. I was a little worried for Talby there for a minute during the whole choak hold thing but she recovered quite nicely 🙂

Lisa - Kids are so funny! Love how they can enjoy the simplest of things. 🙂

Meg P - My two year old little dude climbed up in my lap to watch this video with me. He definitely thought they were saying “Hi” to him! He kept saying “Hey!!” and waving so hard! And then when it was over he asked for “another!” Ha! Kids can be fun sometimes 😉

Corinne - Yes please call disney! It is so much better then Dog with a Blog!

Angela A - Oh my. I have two that get crazy. I can’t imagine 5 of them. I love that Waffle had to join in too.

wowza!

well…. how awesome are you?

i was not sure i could meet my goal of 50 stoves…$1000.

and as of NOW we have raised $4230 and sponsored 211 stoves.

THAT IS SO AWESOME!!!

let's keep this momentum going!

🙂

we have five more days…. let's hit $5000!!!!!  i bet we can!!

thank you to everyone who gave so far!
the adventure project thinks you are so cool.

—————————————————————————————————————-

this fake commercial was on Saturday Night Live last week.
i thought it was very funny….

also The Lumineers were on!!!!
they were so so SO goooooooood!
did you see it?
you should go over here and watch  and then watch this one too!
they are pretty dreamy to listen to.

i meant to have my craft weekend post up and ready today.
but it's not gonna happen.
i have been so busy….very happily busy… all good stuff.

how about some instagrams from the past week-ish?

IMG_20130109_123221
annie loves to go to the thrift store with me.
i told her she could pick one thing only….. i wish she would have chosen that couch!
instead we came home with that valentines bear from 2006.
i know it's 2006 because that is what is on the bear's foot.

IMG_20130110_070406
my favorite mug.

IMG_20130113_092353
kimberlee's coffee cake….it was totally delicious.

IMG_20130114_124639
many monrings look like this over here.

IMG_20130114_145017
i went back to the mall last week and the gold shoes
that were completely covered in gold glitter were 70% off!
score.

IMG_20130114_195334
annie shouted "MOM pleeeeeease can i get one of these?! They are only $39.99!!"

only???

IMG_20130115_093539
ran five miles by myself…. well, me and the avett brothers and mumford & sons.

IMG_20130115_170230
tulips.
they are so nice on the eyes.

IMG_20130116_183707
talby found these in the bathroom and wanted to know WHY?
Why do we have them? Whose are they? What are they for? Where did they come from?

(they are a mold of craig's teeth…fascinating right?)

IMG_20130116_134920
a vase of dr.seussy flowers were sunny and nice during this FREEZING week we have had.

IMG_20130117_083430
so cold.
going running in this cold weather is quite something.
frozen thighs no matter how far we go.
but the reward will be endurance when the weather improves…. right?
i hope so.

IMG_20130117_100721
i love this breakfast.
cutie…greek yogurt… granola… coffee with LOTS of half & half.

IMG_20130117_152350
cleaning at the craft house is always pretty decent because it's all so pretty to see.

IMG_20130118_082440
i steal my husband's socks for cold running…. they are just better.

IMG_20130118_100927
on friday we did our run and then gathered at my friend's house and helped her prepare 25 meals for her freezer as a birthday gift to her.  :)
the gift was helping it get accomplished.
she is super organized so we did what we were told and it all worked out great!
that is my favorite way to cook… "just tell me what to do"

IMG_20130118_105204
i chopped and chopped and chopped.

IMG_20130118_140355
then i put together calzones.
it was a lot of work but so worth it!  it's a GENIUS way to cook meals.

IMG_20130119_080816
saturday morning i snuck in some time under a blanket with coffee and my book.
the sun came up and became too much for me sit there anymore.
but i will take that sunshine anytime!
IMG_20130119_131701
i took sean to his basketball tournament for the day… just the two of us.
he had three games and i really enjoyed it all.
it has been SO MUCH fun to watch my kids improve in their sports this year.

IMG_20130119_175558
after sean's three games we went to scott's game at our old high school gym!
it was very surreal to be there as a grown up… as a parent… of a HIGH SCHOOLER?!
so weird.
and lots of the same people sitting or standing in the same place they did when i was in high school?!!

IMG_20130120_104452

i am reading The Ragamuffin Gospel: Good News for the Bedraggled, Beat-Up, and Burnt Out.

it's wordy but so far it's reeeeeally good.

"for grace proclaims the awesome truth that all is gift"

IMG_20130120_201415
sunday night swimming…. yes please.
craig and sean spent almost the whole time wrestling.
why do boys do that so much?

IMG_20130120_221613
talby organized all annie's babies for her so annie had to feed them all before going to bed herself.

IMG_20130121_100005
and this morning…. we ran 6.17 miles in 17 degrees.
it was HARD.
but it's done. THANK GOODNESS!

IMG_20130121_114346
then we met AGAIN but this time at the craft house and we made freezer to crock pot meals!
we made 6 recipes all together and bagged them in freezer ziploc bags!
awesome.

IMG_20130121_143804
touching all that raw meat all day was kinda gross but i think we will all happily eat it.

i will definitely blog the recipes we tried and show more pics of that soon!
i honestly can't wait to do it again!

and now i am stinkin' tired.

i am going to bed.

thanks again for the stove sponsors!!!

Securedownload

you are RAD!

if you haven't given yet and you want to… CLICK HERE  and it will tell you how.
it couldn't be easier.

Jaime Melcher - Will you share the 25 meals for the freezer with us? I would love to do something like this… just tell me what to do! 🙂 Smiles!

tinaehb3 - the commercial is hysterical!!!!!!

jennibell - Your Annie and my Margaret would get along so well!!! She always picks out stuffed animals or some other gross thing like that at thrift stores but I say “no”. . .it has to be something that can be washed without falling apart — ha! And she would completely want to help Annie feed all those babies too 🙂 Yea on the stoves and double-yea on the running in 17 degrees. . .I.could.never.
And we’ll have our first high-schooler next year. . .wow.

Angie - How in the world do you manage to accomplish so much? There are so many awesome things in this post I don’t even know what to comment on. What I do know is that Freezer Cooking is awesome. I wish I could find the time & dedication to do it!!!

Lennie Jackson - Love the couch also! I bought a stove :). Hope you surpass your goal!!! Way to carry out God’s work a little at a time.

denise@victory rd. - snl clip is hilarious.
want your polka dotted.
it’s too cold to run (and i live in cali. wimp).
ragmauffin words, so so good. i don’t deserve Him and His love either.

Tracy - Congrats on the stove donations!!
Can’t wait to hear about the crockpot meals!!!

amanda - Woot! It’s amazing what people with a purpose can accomplish!

Lisa - Freezer to crockpot meals sound awesome – totally what this working-outside-the-home mama needs. Can’t wait to hear more about it! 🙂

Erika - I LOVE your blog and look forward to reading it every day!!!! This is my first time posting. I am amazed and so proud of you for running in the cold…brrr!!! I also would love to know the freezer to crockpot meals and what the other meals your friend organized for you guys to make for her birthday. What a fantastic idea!!!!
Erika
essvedy@aol.com

susan - Love all the pictures, Meg! I have to tell you that I went to Ikea this weekend and saw that tray and thought of you! I almost bought it, but got the long rectangle with rainbow dots instead.

Lisa M. - That’s awesome about the stoves! Great job!
And you ran in 17 degree weather?? I’ve stopped running outside at the moment cuz it’s reeeeaaallly cold (1 degree today) and I don’t know if I’d make it. My problem is clothing. I always start out really cold then half way through I’m taking off gloves, my hat and wishing I could shed some clothes! I think I might have just been inspired to go out (no, not in 1 degree). Maybe when it gets above 20 🙂

Lisa - Wowza is right!!! So awesome how many stoves were bought!

Jenny B. - So fun! One random question… Do you like your new rainbow knives? 🙂

Janna - CONGRATS!! AWESOME!!! On the stoves AND the running;) Had to comment and say hey! that’s my fav mug too;) Is it a RE mug from Target? I just got one at Goodwill a few weeks ago, same color, and it’s my new fav! Your flowers look so yum. Makes me wanna go buy some. And I just printed off 19 recipes to double and a groc list from pinterest to do freezer to crockpot meals. Can’t wait. I LOVE your idea of doing it with friends for their bday.Genius! Also I am so in love with the Craft House and CW I can hardly stand it. I am 34 now and told my best friend that is what we are gonna be doin in ten years. Sounds like the BEYOND DREAM JOB!! I hope her and I can come to a CW before ten years tho. YOU ROCK!!

Flower Patch Farmgirl - I am blown straight away that you ran 6.something miles in 17 degrees. I mean…Superwoman. I ran 1.1 mile in the warmth of my basement and thought I might die. And I walked half of it.
Also: The stoves!!!!!!!!!!!!! woop woop!

Tiffany - I’m so happy for you with the success of the stoves! See the difference you make?! Amazing! YOU rock!

this is where i live.

all the boys i went to high school with….looked like this.
all the boys around me now…look like this.
i LOVE it.

i am sure i know someone who knows these boys…but i don't personally know them.
they are awesome.

if you wondered what it looks like near me….this is it.

kansas rocks.
and all those farmers….thank you.

🙂

amber reece - Thanks for sharing!!! I think I love those boys!: ) Shared on facebook to my farmer friends!

Heidi Jo the Artist - I bet that took some time to make; pretty awesome! Can relate too, but lots of corn and soybeans here in Iowa.

Olga - I’m a city girl but have always had a yearning for country life! This was awesome thanks for sharing!!
My kids love it too!!

Jan - They were invited by Good Morning America last Friday to appear with LMFAO but they declined because they don’t care for the band’s name or most of their lyrics. What awesome boys!

Beth - I’m from Kansas City (Missouri Side), but I would love to live on a kansas farm. 🙂 Envious of you! Maybe one day…

Jenny Joy - These boys are from around Salina (hence the predominance of K-State gear since it’s often considered Wildcat country.) I have family in the area who are acquainted with their families. Isn’t that always the way in Kansas?! Can’t you just hear it now? “You know, Earl’s boy. No, not the oldest one. The second to youngest who dates that cute little Harper girl.” Gotta love country living!

Brooke - This video has exploded the last few days and it makes me proud to call KS home. Those boys are awesome!!

karen gerstenberger - Meg, I loved this video! Please, please send it to the Pioneer Woman – she would love it, living on a cattle ranch!

anna - Love me a farmer! Cutest boys ever! And I love their dirty britches. Hope they got an “A” whatever this was for.

Victoria - Loved the video! My lil’ sis is finishing up her masters degree from University of Ga in Agriculture Education so I had to pass it along to her as well.
Also enjoyed the other videos you linked to recently and the rehearsal dinner you helped with.
I enjoy your blog immensely! Makes me happy to look at all your colorful pictures. 🙂

Lesley - Thought you might be interested to know that this clip made it to a morning show on a major network here in Australia! How funny!!

Stephanie - How awesome! I am a wannabe farmer and would love for my girls to marry someone like one of these boys. And look at the muscles on those boys! So healthy and completely different from this generation’s status quo.

Jennifer - Yep! I went to school with boys like that too 🙂 (in Ohio)

Aimee @ My Pink Life - The first thing I thought of when I watched this video ~ I want my daughters to marry guys like this! LOVE IT! By the way, I don’t think I’ve commented before but I SO enjoy reading your blog. It is so fun to find other women who have similar interests and love artsy-fartsy stuff like I do! 🙂

Amy @ Little for a Little While - This is so hilarious and awesome! Love it!

Suzanne - OMG…Love it!
Caught myself singing “I gotta feed everybody” as I was preparing dinner. Thanks for sharing, as always!

Chelsea - lol Love it! This is basically West Virginia (where I live). It’s either farmers or golfers. Strange combo, but true!
I love your blog! You have a beautiful family!

Jenna - Completely agree! Made me so proud of my home state and the work done there. The beauty of the Kansas land AND the Kansas State apparel only made it better! 🙂

Tracy Fisher - My dad is a good ol farm boy. I love it. He made me appreciate Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson music. He taught us that you can go fishing for a whole day with a box of Wheat Thins, 2 pops and a 6pack of beer (for him). Good times. I can’t wait to see the farm when one day I finally sign myself up for Craft Weekend and get chosen.
-Tracy

dmg314 - super cool video. thanks for sharing.
I still picture Jimmy Fallon when I hear Call Me Maybe!

Meredith - Love it!!!!

Kacy - So funny!!! I love that song!!

ira lee - oh girl! this is great! im in arkansas, and all the boys look like this here too! i love parady songs and this is great! heres to all the farmers and small business owners!!!!!!

kimmie - that was great! fun to show our 12 y/o daughter since our life here in on the west coast beaches of sunny Florida is so different.

caren wise - that was great!

Dena - So awesome!

tina - That’s what it looks like where I live too, only we’re not in Kansas, we’re in PA 🙂

lindsey - This is so awesome! Thanks for sharing!

erincrommett@hotmail.com - Ha! They remind me of the boys I rode school bus with when I was a kid in western North Dakota. Thanks for sharing!
Erin

happygirl - LOVE this. I’m gonna have to share it with my IL farmer friends. 🙂

Betsey - Awesome! Being a mid-west girl (Ohio) and living in Nor Cal…don’t see anything that resembles these boys around here! Makes me miss home and the simple life…Ah, still praying we head back east soon!!!
Thanks for sharing!

Lori Bowring Michaud - That is priceless, thanks for sharing!

April Brown - I am 36 years old, probably have a daughter their age and all I can think to say is DAAAAAAAAANG!

Kerry Wiebe - Dan said you are welcome!!!!!!!!!!

Jacci in Ohio - awww… the heartland 🙂 this is not too different from where my husband’s grandmother lives a few miles north here in Ohio. i think there are quite a few states that have boys like these guys. i have to say, though, the *never ending* fields… they seem a lot bigger (and flatter) in Kansas.

Katy @ Live Laugh Love Craft - Hahahaha! Thanks for that. So awesome. 🙂 In fact, I like that version much better than the original!

Krissy - That TOTALLY made my day! And made me miss home a little too. So thankful I’m marrying a farmer, even though he’s from Indiana not Kansas. Oh well, beggers cant be choosers! 😉 Thanks for the laugh!!! 😀

Amanda - My friend’s cousin made/is in the video. Now you know someone who knows someone who knows someone in the video! 3 degrees of separation, counts, right? 🙂

Melissa - That was great! I wish I went to high school with boys like that! However if I did, my life would sure be a lot different than it is now. I’ve always had a soft spot for farmers!

jen - amazing!!!!

Suzanne - I love it! I’m a Kansas girl, and that was awesome! I could even get past seeing those crazy KState t-shirts 😉

Kristin S - Meg!!!!!!! That is awesome. I’m so thankful for boys like that too. Dying breed – hard workers.

Tiffany - Oh man that was good. I’m still here smiling.

seriously sassy mama - I love this. Nothing like a good farm boy!

Heather - I had to laugh at WATER!WATER!WATER!WATER!WATER! because that’s what I deal with daily…securing water rights and irrigation equipment.
Go Cats!!

Lori - Love, LOVE, love…that video makes me happy. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

paula - Funny – I just shared this with my friends and family earlier today. It looks like all the boys that I dated and all the young boys in my family too. Love Kansas and love the kansas farm boy.

Genevieveharvey109 - After watching that, I had to share this one with you: http://youtu.be/v41sEavtJ3E
It’s like the eastern Canada version of the one you posted, and when I saw it I was reminded of the boys that I went to high-school with. Rural boys don’t differ all that much from place to place, or so it would appear!

Kimberly - So cute! Loved it … had to share on my FB wall 🙂

Christina - That was great! Thanks for sharing it…looks like they know how to have fun AND work hard. 🙂 Love the robot at the end!!

Suzy Adams - HA…that was awesome, Meg! Thank you Kansas Boys! We love you!
Suzy

Patti - So funny!! My eight year old son and I were laughing like crazy! 🙂 A few weeks ago we saw another one on youtube (dairy farming related) and loved it because we could just imagine my brothers pulling off something like that. I think if you google “From Sussex and I know it” you should be able to see it…It’s the Canadian version! 🙂

Jenn - That was awesome!!
Loved watching it.
Fun to see something different from where I grew up 🙂

Amber Campbell Hibbs - LOVE it!!!! That is awesome beyond reason. You make me smile every day Meg. 🙂

Katherine Wilkinson - LOL if I didn’t know this was from Kansas I swear I would have thought it was from where I’m from Edmonton, Alberta Canada! hahah Cute

Courtney - Love it! I went to school with a lot of guys that looked just like that too – but not in Kansas. This is awesome!

Kari C. - Love, love, LOVE it!!!! Thanks for sharing!

KLucas - So very cute!

sara @ it's good to be queen - love. this.
i married a kansas farm boy….they’re good stock. 🙂

Joanie - Really enjoyed that, we live in a farming community in NY. Thanks for sharing

April R - That was awesome XD
Thank you!
My ten year old says, “Can I get that on my iPod?”

Lindi - Those Kansas Farm Boys rocked that…I grinned the whole time!! Awesome job!! Thanks for sharing!! 😉

Lisa M. - This is an AWESOME video! I think I had a smile on my face the entire time! Kudos to those boys! Thanks for sharing that!

stephany - My dad was a kansas farm boy!

Regina - CUTE! 🙂

Robyn Farmer - This is cute!

Terrie - Love me some Kansas Farm Boys!!
I know that our whole family misses farming.
It’s always great to go and help our uncle.
‘Cause once farming gets in your blood…
it really never leaves!

do you have questions?

is there something you want me to talk about?

i am not going to show the farm house because it is a total disaster with us LIVING in it together this summer so far…..and the only thing that is decorated is the one entry way wall that i already showed.  :)

but what else would like to here me blab on and on about?

:)

Su@TheIntentionalHome - I want to know what you do with all your kids’ artwork. .throw it away? keep it. . where?? All those Craft Thurs projects?? Can you show us that on a vlog?

paula - I agree. A craft house tour. We see pictures but it seems like they are just little peeks into the windows. I think there is so much more we aren’t seeing. I would love to come in the front door and look around and hear some of the stories the house has to share.

Katrina - Love Jimmy! And the rainbow xylophone!

The Lovely One - I wish my husband had a Facebook page so I could post that video on his wall! So cute!

Cathy - Love the video!!

Jill B. - I love your style, your postive outlook, and your creativity. Vlog us a simple craft that we can make at home!

Jacci - OK… fun! I realy think the vlogs are fun, too. I have a thought about the farmhouse. I totally get what you’re saying and I get why you wouldn’t want to vlog, say, the kids’ rooms or something like that. But, really… I think it’s really GOOD for me and for other readers who were completely infatuated with your previous home to see that you *are* blessed, and happy, and content with an undecorated house… without those granite countertops. That you are all still YOU in a funky, messy house. So, I really think a vlog of the farmhouse could be a blessing. Shaking up blogland, which is too often filled with perfect rooms and smiling kids. You keep it real, here, Meg. You’re so great at that. So, bring it.

jessica kiehn - I have a question:
How has it been living in a new house that is totally not your style? You moved from big, open, white spaces to smaller, darker, wooden spaces (minus the whole huge country around you thing) Is it hard to feel at home there? Or is a house just a house to you and the feel/decor/colors don’t really matter, it’s the people in the house that matters to you?

Andrea - I would love to see a vlog about YOUR craft projects for your etsy shop.
I would also love a vlog where Waffle is featured – I just love that dog and want to hug him every time you show a photo!

Jennifer Cole - I miss you adding to your Happy Things list! AND – I check everyday for my invite to craft week!!!!! What kind of advance notice time do we get? (please,oh please, before school starts up again!)

shauna - that video really cheered me up tonight!

Jennifer - would love to hear about your beauty routine.

Lisa - Thanks for such a cute video. After a really long day that includes a wonky headache, this brought a smile to my face! Thanks! 🙂

Kathy P - as for teh vlog, i am interested in how you decorate Craft House, so more of that woudl be good

Jess - Anything Craft weekend related!!

cheryl - oh, i LOVE him too!

Leah - Your summer list. Vlog it!

Shauna Howington - I agree, anything photography related. Also, some ideas about how you decide on poses would be great

Jenna@CallHerHappy - Oh I know what I would love. I would love if you did a tutorial on a certain photography technique. Like maybe show us how to take a picture with bokeh or sun flare. You could do it “live” on camera and show us step by step what you do in that type of photography situation. Fun!

Catherine - Thank you for sharing this video! My two little boys will love it.

Anne - L-o-v-e this video!! Thanks for sharing. Put a smile on my face big time. I’d love for you to tell us more about your photography skills- what your sessions are like, and if you do any post-processing.

Alice H - I agree with everyone else…craft house tour!! And I also like Mindy Harris’ questions.
How is your relationship with Lauren? What about all your other kids? How do your relationships with all your kids change? grow? etc? I have a 13 year old daughter and she does not want to spend time with me and/or the family. I have to force her to. And I know this is a phase and it is normal. But seriously…any tips on that would be nice.

Brooke - I love the video, it made me laugh this morning.

Linda - I’d love to see the craft house too! But someday will you show up the farmhouse? I’d love to see how you put together another house!!!!

roganne - craft house, craft house, CRAFT HOUSE!

Maria Bryan - YES!!!!! THE CRAFT HOUSE TOUR PLLLEEEAAASSSE! I am totally obsessed and inspired by the way you have put that perfect house together!

KirstenP - You recently did a photography lesson. Now it’s time for a vlog lesson on editing photos.

Chantelle - How about a vlog on how you keep a positive outlook in a negative world? 🙂

Jenn - I would love to hear more about Craft Weekend, how you prep for it and yes, definitely a tour!

Niki - I think you should do a day in the life vlog. Snippets of video taken throughout your day and put together!! That would be awesome. Maybe you could do it on a Friday before Craft Weekend so we could see what all you and Kimberlee do to get things ready and see her live! 🙂
P.S. Are you going to post a craft weekend update? Love to see all the crafty, happy goodness!

Kathy P - You should see the australian version (parody) of that song, which has gone viral
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRVPyw_BorY

Jen Brandt - I echo the craft house tour comments. That would be awesome!

Beth K. - As a mom whose oldest is entering high school – maybe your feelings on how that is – also how it feels to have one so close to entering the “real world”. Craft house tour would be great too! Though I could use some “help” in terms on how you transitioned to having a child in high school.

happygirl - Please tour the craft house and explain how this all came to be. 🙂

Andrea Jeanne - Love the video – great way to start my day!!

angela - Tour of craft house….how Lauren’s school year went with all the family transitioning…..your faith.

brooke - Something from your craft weekends and the ladies who are lucky enough to attend would be interesting!

Lisa - ps. I heart that video.

Lisa - If you could give a new parent advice what 3 things would you say? (I always love hearing the different things people say!) 🙂

Kate @ Songs Kate Sang - OK. For reals. cutest video ever! Um, I’d like you to talk about… hmmmm…. your boys! Being a mom of boys is so fun… bring it.

Kerstie Pederson - A peek at your favorite things to collect or your favorite thrifty finds would be fun. AND yes a tour of the craft house would be fun too.

Mindy Harris - Fitness and healthy eating. Your faith. Some kind of simple sewing tutorial. Books u r loving. Your beauty regime. Wwhat it’s like to be a celeb. How to keep marriage sizzling. A list of faves vs pet peeves. Ideas for summer travel and entertainment on a budgie.
Hehe!

Kelly - A tour of the craft house now that it’s the craft house and not your day to day living house. That would be fun. Kelly
