Stopped by our first house we ever bought. We moved in here when Scott was a baby.
We had Sean, Talby and Annie while living here. We re-did everything in this house and learned so much.
this was a good house.
we made wonderful memories here.

Crown Fountain at Millennium Park in Chicago. Your new space is pretty, but the posts have no dates? at least I cant find them. I quickly hit the “345” button to see your first post. Cool that you were able to move the entire thing, but I would like to see the dates on the posts. Welcome to your new home on the web. We just got home from Chicago, and it was AWESOME!!!! But we drove with our 4 kiddos from Philadelphia…two days of close-up lovin’ in the minivan…oh yeah… But it was worth every moment…love the bean, the pizza, the public gathering spots, the art, the river, the everything. So glad you’re having a great trip! 🙂 This is so much fun! All your pictures are making me want to go back on vacation! Enjoy!
Besties. (p.s. where did our babies go??? Jenny was in the delivery room for talby and annie!)

How did you take it without getting your camera wet?!? haha oh my goodness. aren’t 14 year olds the worst? they pretend they aren’t happy but secretly have a lot of fun when you aren’t looking. This picture reminds me when my son was 14. sheesh – what a time! He looks like Craig in this picture. I’m glad ya’ll are having a blast!! Fun in the sun! Indiana should be giving you some nice hot weather this week for lots of lake action. Gah! I can’t wait to leave for vacation! Only 2 days left! awesome!!! enjoy your time away! I would live on a lake if I could. Enjoy your time! It’s hot hot hot!!! Enjoy your time in Michigan!! When were you in Indiana? I like your longer hair too. I was at St. Louis Zoo weekend before last ( I live 2 hrs away) I probably would have screamed if I saw you there! Lol 🙂 Have a great trip, there are so many great things to do St. Louis! Welcome to St. Louis! You must get Ted Drewes while you are here…yummo. Mindy - What a lovely house and how fun to revisit!
Heather S. - Yep – the Midwest rocks for homes! Our house in Kansas is *nice,* but in Cali it would cost a fortune. We wouldn’t have been able to afford our *starter* home if it were in Cali. Sheesh!
Love the photo-a-day Meg! And your legs – they look nice. Good to see them (in shorts!). 😉
Tamara - So cute! I love going back by old houses I’ve lived in. It would be fun if the current owners would let you see the inside to see if things are the same or not.
Lisa B - I live in Lynnwood, Jennifer, and I was thinking the same thing!!
Michelle whitlow - Aww, what a cute house!!
Lisa Perry - What a beautiful house, great that you went by to visit it 🙂
Sara Torbett - What a beautiful home! 🙂 And stuffed full of memories too….
this picture is a treasure.
angela - I love this!
Jennifer - I can’t believe that’s your first home! In Seattle, where we live, that’s the home everyone has to save, pinch pennies, and wait years to make enough to afford. What a lovely place for memories and another reason the Midwest is awesome.
happygirl - 🙂 I love reliving memories.
