************************************************************
by the way…i am almost done with all my etsy orders.
you have all been so patient with me.
it's been a lot work but i have loved it.
i think every time i finish a pillow i say "now THIS is my favorite."
right now there are 12 sitting in the craft room again…waiting to ship out.
i know our postal workers by first name now.
i hope you all love your pillows and shirts as much as i loved making them!

Sarah B - Now that is a Different Dog! Just like my blog. Ha ha.
Love his big goofy grin. Just started reading your blog awhile back…so interesting!

Amanda Willey - Waffle is absolutely adorable! I have a giant Schnauzer that looks just like Waffle, only she is black and in serious need of a new summer do.
Your photos are wonderful!

Emily James - I want Waffles hair back… much much adorable!
I like a hairy Waffles… But of cos I still like him now.

traci - he doesn’t even look like himself. he’s so cute. he does look pretty proud of his new do.

Tracy - I LOVE Waffle’s new haircut! He looks amazing and so much LIGHTER – in the literal sense! :o) Thanks for sharing and I’m sure HE thinks he’s ALL that and a bag of chips every day! Look at how he’s catered to! He has all of you right where he wants you! LOL He’s a doll!
Hugs, Trac~ :o)

Mindy Harris - Our Boston Terrier, Marley, has a tumor in his colon. We find out in a few days if benign or malignant. Do you mind praying for our little guy? He’s only 5 1/2 yrs old.
THANK YOU!

Aubrey - i can’t believe how different he looks–and i think he’s actually smiling about his buzz.

Ashley - He doesn’t even look like the same dog! Our little pup doesn’t have quite as much hair as Waffle but he does have long hair and we are going to take him to the groomers in a few weeks to get it all shaved off for summer. I’m anxious to see how it will turn out.

Elisa - total crack-up!!!

Christy - So cute! He looks like my Lab Tucker. I have two & they are both dorks, but couldn’t love them any less.

Brooke - this is too cute…he looks like he cannot stop smiling…i love it!

Amber Mershawn - I’ve never left you a comment before, mostly because I don’t know you:)….but Waffle, well, he broke the ice with his cuteness. So I had to tell you that I wished I lived in Kansas just so I could meet him! hehe Stinking CUTE! We have a chocolate lab….. & I know dorky dogs. Ugh….

Andrea - That hair cut is hilarious. He looks just like my yellow lab now. Melts my heart. Is he self conscious about the change? Please tell me you got photos of the “process”. Because I would LOVE to see that!

Anya - Waffle looks younger! Like when a bearded man shaves his whole beard off. Very handsome, no wonder he’s strutting around like ‘he’s all that’!

Lyndsey - I love your dog! He is just to cute for words. I’m thinking of giving my dog a makeover now to.

Nina - wow….what a difference! I’m sure Waffle is going to enjoy that hair cut for the summer. And you’re going to enjoy him being much easier to clean up afer those rainy muddy days…….

Anna - OH – MY – GOSH!!! He looks so different but oh so soft! I can’t believe the change. I bet that was fun giving him the cut (assuming you did it). Have a great Sunday!

elizabeth - i can feel her softness through my computer. she must act like a girl after a makeover. Does she strut different. she has to know how how great she looks. I need to know her groomer and need the same done to me.

Diana Parra - Wow! Who is this dog?
He is adorable no matter what his hair length. 🙂

Jamie - OH MY GOSH! He is ADORABLE!!! My heart melted when I saw your first picture. He looks so grown up! He made my night! Just makes me smile. Such a handsome dog under all of the cute curly hair!

Lisa - HE LOOKS ADORABLE. I BET HE IS SOFT!!!
HUGS FROM FLORIDA

Lacey McKay - What? That’s the SAME DOG??? That’s unbelievable! He looks great!

Melissa Moran - Is Waffle a Doodle? We have a goldendoodle named Harvey and we call him the “foreign exchange dog” when we have to shave him down….he even acts like a totally different dog! We love him so much and think he is the greatest! I have heard from other doodle owners that they all feel the same way! Our guy’s name is Harvey, he is 4.

Lauren - I absolutely love waffle with all the hair.. 🙂 i think that the name fits him well! i like him without the hair as well but i think he should be “Pancake” now! 🙂 🙂 i think that fits with the no hair waffle! 🙂

wendy - Meg, did you take him to a groomer or do it yourself? He looks great!

vera - i just love waffle he makes me want a dog!

jennymama - I absolutely love your blog! I’ve been on here for nearly an hour trying to find a link to your etsy shop! Can you please email me the name or a link? Your home is GORGEOUS!

Jenny - Waffle is gorgeous!

Jane - I was just about to say “Extreme Makeover- Doggie Edition!” But, Kim beat me to it! I love Waffle both ways! Wish I could pet his chenille coat!

Michelle - Wow. I thought he was a different dog. : )
Michelle

Kasey - Wow, what a makeover! He’s a cutie.

Yard Sale Mama - Waffle is one of the funniest dog names I’ve ever heard!! I would not have believed he was the same dog- what a change! Such a happy guy :o)
~Rachel

amy (not corey) - I saw Craig with him outside last night and couldn’t believe it was the same dog! He looks like a Lab now. Marley’s face and ears and tail are all still so fluffy… how did they shave Waffle’s ears and tail?! Very cute.

shelby - haha look how happy he looks!! he look so much happier than your previous post! i love it!!!

jimaiemarie - omg, that is NOT the same dog LOL!! Gosh, that it so darn cute!! I love that he REALLY DOES look proud of himself!!! haha, go waffle!

Julia - The only thing that looks the same is the nose!

Deputy's Wife - Oh my goodness! Look at the transformation! He’s a new dog!

Shannan - I LUV my pillow! As for Waffle, he looks like an impostor! A very cute one.

Kate - oh my gosh! that does not look like the same dog. both versions of waffle are cute as… a cute dog, though.
and i thought i was the only one who wore christmas pajamas past christmas. haha.
-kate

joy joy - all i can say is wowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowo

Aby - Oh my! He looks like two totally different dogs!!! He’s precious either way, but I LOVED his “curly” hair!!

Sarah - Wow! He looks so different!
I think it’s so funny that dogs totally react to a haircut.
He looks real good!
But, I think I’d miss his goofy shaggy look 🙂

kristin - no.

Sophie - Awwwwwwww!
You can see his little knobbly knees. ^.^
Can you say adorable?

kat - Holy Moly!!! I can’t believe how much different he looks! Such a handsome boy. I think he looks great both ways! “Waffle” is seriously the best dog name ever. Who named him?

Vera - He is SO cute, and those are great pictures!! Every time I try to get on the floor to take a picture of our dog, he comes bouncing over and I just get a picture of some fur.

Penny - Waffle!! Waffle the coolest dog ever! How handsome and young he looks. He should have his own blog! He would have a huge following.

Jennifer Wilson-Miller - Wow what a difference. I have to get my goldendoodle cut soon too, now I know he will look like a new dog!

Liz - I love your pooch and, oh my gosh, how grown up does he look now?

Mary Elizabeth - Are you sure you didn’t go borrow a different dog for pictures? heehee 🙂 He looks so handsome! You did a great job and he must be a great boy to have sat still for oyu to do it.

Melanie - Hi Meg! We have a maltipoo (not as big as Waffle) and he looks the same way before & after a haircut. My son doesn’t like it when we get him shaved. He is overweight & has a small head & Caden thinks he looks weird:) Did a groomer cut him or did Craig? Waffle is so cute and he has turned out to be HUGE!

traci - Haircut completely changes the look of a dog just like a person..lol Doesnt look AT ALL like the same dog. I wouldnt be surprised if people asked where Waffle was..lolol
He looks like the greatest dog ever!!!!!

Sandy - I love Waffle with and without hair. I still dream of getting a dog just like Waffle! Haven’t found him yet though.
Enjoy summer, Waffle!

Lanny Stanard - He is all that and a bag of chips and a hat and even a tee shirt! I LOVE IT… give him a big kiss!
Lanny…

Ruth - No waaaay!! He just dropped about 20 dog years 😉
Crazy – hopefully taking off his winter jacket will spur on the summer to come already!

Danielle - Meg, I too would love to order some pillows —don’t know if that was a temporary deal for Cora or not but I could even pick them up —I’m super close- all my family lives in N-town. Let us know if you plan to do more.

Katie - He is such a cute dog! What breed is he?

ang - Wow!!!! What a haircut!!!!
Love my pillow, especially the sock monkey fabric! Definitely my favorite!

Michelle - I love it! We have a mini poodle (and who knows what else) who looks like Waffle only black hair, every time we shave him the cat won’t go near him for a few days thinking that we brought a new dog home. I am sure Waffle will enjoy his new cooler hair cut now that the weather is warming up.

Wendy - Wow! He doesn’t even look like the same breed anymore! Of course, he’s adorable both ways…

Karen~ - Oh my goodness! He’s probably thinking I can see now! He is a very cute dog!
Karen~

CherryTreeLane - SO awesome. Love the banner!

sandy toe - Meg..I can’t find your etsy shop. I would like to order the red pillow with the white soft polka dots on the back…can you give me some info?
Debbie@djgteach.com

sandy toe - I can’t believe that is the same dog~
sandy toe

Sue - Megan, are you absolutely SURE that the doggie salon didn’t make a mistake and return the wrong dog to you?! I hope you don’t mind that the picture of the big hairy Waffle is my computer screen’s background page. I crack up every time I look at that big silly dog with the eyeball glasses! And Mr.Sullivan just drools over his picture and keeps asking when we are going to get a dog…… Sue

MOMMYS GIRL - OMG HE LOOKS SO DIFFERENT HOW? IT’S A NOT SO NEW DOG

adrienneK - oh he is soooo cute!!! now i must post this quickly before my three year old sees his picture and begins to ask for a doggie 😉

Elizabeth - wow, it doesn’t look like the same dog!

Jamie - Wow! That is one of the best before and afters I’ve seen in a while! It has been fun seeing Waffle grow up on your blog!

Jessica - what a cute doggie!! He looks so sweet!! What kind of dog is he?

Jess - SOOOOOOO stinkin’ CUUUUTE! He really looks like he is smiling!

Darby - Waffle, you are a big dork… but I could eat your face off! You are precious, precious, precious… and Meg, if you were the one with the clippers you did a great job! Hope y’all have a great weekend!!

purejoy - my favorite? the one with his tongue hanging over the side. i wonder if he is noticing a whole new world out there. . . you can see his eyes now. what does he see?

Kim - Um- I was like- oh they got a new dog! It’s like Extreme Makeover- Doggie Edition! What a cutie and you can so tell he is so proud of himself. Have a great weekend!

he’s a dork.

waffle is a big, goofy, trash eating, cat chasing, puff ball dorky dog.

IMG_6175
he is getting a haircut tonight…weather permitting.
i will miss that squiggle hair on top of his head.
but i will not miss the huge hair balls all over the house.

IMG_6103
he sits for treats really well.
and he shakes and sometimes he lays down.
on monday annie yelled "EWWWW…waffle just got dog lick on me!  YUCK."

IMG_6098
annie wrote on his head with markers.
she said "i was giving him tatoos!  he likes it!"
(he probably did actually…then he probably ate the marker when she was done)

IMG_6184  IMG_6177

IMG_6168

i love him very much.
except when i let him out on a rainy sunday morning in only my robe and slippers
and HE RAN AWAY.
it was a lovely site…chasing a dog while trying to hold my robe closed…
grabbing him by his tail…
then literally wrestling him to the ground and sitting on him to catch him…
dragging him inside by his collar in my slippers that were drenched from the rain.

yeah…didn't love him so much then.
but 99% of the time he is pretty great.

i can't wait to laugh at him when he gets his hair cut.

cheap kamagra - how do you get a black/grey value scale in tattoos?
is it mixing black and white or wut?

viagra cialis levitra - Hi. I have a heartshaped face, and today i’m getting my haircut. I was wondering if anyone could tell me some good ways to get it cut and give me some links of pictures. well please help! thanks in advance.

renee' - i love your dog, hes so cute, i had a dog like him years ago.

karem - BAHAHA!!! that was funny!!
Reminds me of my dog Wembley!!
thanks for the chuckle!

Jennifer P. - Loved reading till here. Waffle makes some great before and after pictures 🙂

Kelly - very fun and I don’t even like dogs. 🙂 Kelly

purejoy - okay, i started backwards. i saw the post waffle. and he is adorkable!!so i thought, wow that’s alot of fanfare for a dog groom! until i went back and saw the huge ball of fur waffle was!! i am (well, was) a huge fan of the little corkscrew thing going on on the top of his head, and i’m thinking a little crazy hair dye would have done him good!! i love annie. . . tattoos?? what a nut!

emily - i want to meet waffle. he seems like he has a good dog soul :] when he’s not running away in the middle of the rain.
& you have inspired me to get a goldendoodle. when i’m all grown up & everything :] great post.

Deputy's Wife - He is adorable! I can’t wait to see pictures of his new “do”!

Aubrey - Did you leave the squiggly hairs on top for a waffle-hawk?
I was lookng at your side link things and saw that pregnant lady who’s been taking pictures of her belly all along the way. Sheesh she looks good. Maybe I should do that–except I would frighten the heck out of cyber space with all my faded, saggy stretch marks from the first three babies. I s’pose I’ll refrain.

Sherri Rowalnd - Waffle is ADORABLE!
Unrelated question…..what color is the chocolate brown in your bedroom? I love it.

jamie - That was a truly Adorable Post. I laughed outloud! Thank you for sharing Waffle, he is so Sweet. Jamie

valerie @ Robots and Candy - Oh you gotta post pictures of the post haircut Waffle.
What a fabulous dog!

adrienne - Have you seen Marley and Me? Puppies are so naughty, but bring so much joy! He’s adorable.

Becky @ Farmgirl Paints - What a sweetie! I’m sure he will look like a completely different dog after his cut. Sometimes they even act different. Isn’t that funny!

Sarah - What a cutie! Is it really true that they don’t shed? That would be amazing since they have so much of that adorable fluffy fur!

sandy toe - He is very cute….sandy toe

Angie - Waffle! Waffle! Waffle! I heart that cute little doggie. Thanks for sharing some pictures with us!

Penny - I love Waffle! He is a perfect dog. We have two Golden Retrievers and our female Bailey is due for “little Waffles” at the end of May. We are so excited to have Goldendoodles. Please post a picture of Waffle after his haircut. handsome boy!

Anna - Your Annie is such a little ham. She cracks me up!
One just knows by looking at him that he is a big lanky, dorky dog…he just looks that way. Would have paid money to see you out chasing him in your robe…and in the rain. Bahahahahahahah…!
I was walking along our river walk (MO River) two days ago and a lady was walking her black labradoodle…he was cute but I still like Waffle’s color better.

Kat - Hahahaha! Great post. My daughter Lauren, who’s two, always wants to see a picture of “Waffle” whenever I sit at the computer. I first saw him on another blog a few months back, that’s how I found your blog, and I showed her the picture. She LOVES him too. What a sweet boy. Dogs are the best. Especially big, goofy, silly dogs!

Amanda - Waffle is absolutely adorable!! Looks like he’s a good cuddling dog!

Ruth - Hahaha! What a story. Naughty dog! But your photos of Waffle are always priceless… love that fuzzy fluff… good luck with the haircut!

Lanny Stanard - Oh i love that dog! he will look funny after his haircut, but make sure to tell him how great he look no matter what!
xOxO

gina - lol. which is why i don’t have a dog. chasing after 4 kids and a husband- even when it’s not raining and i’m fully dressed- is tough enough sometimes. 😉

Kaitlyn - I love your dog. I’m still begging the husband for one just like Waffle! I doubt that will happen. I can’t wait to see his hair cut! Although I love his hair like that. So cute! ;o)

DeMo - He looks so adorable he almost looks fake, like the best stuffed dog you could have.

CJsmom - Let’s correct that last post. He’s so photogenic. Not to mention so lovable! Love your blog Meg!

CJsmom - I absolutely love this dog. He’s so photogenic. Not so much loveable. Can’t wait to see him with his new do.

Heather Anuta - I love these pictures! I once had to do the same thing- chasing down my dog. We has just moved to a new house. I was in sweats and no shoes and it was about 20 degrees and had just snowed outside. I guess he wanted to explore the new neighborhood. My sister finally caught him and it was luckily in my best friend’s yard. Had a hard time loving him that day.

Julia - That last picture is great. It looks like he’s thinking “it’s so exhausting being me”

Ivy Bettinger Smith - PLEASE take pictures of the new doggie-haircut! I think Waffle and my little Pumpkin would be good friends!

Jess - my kids want a dog like waffle…when..or…IF..we get another. he’s just so stinkin’ cute. i would love to see him next to our 4lb. teacup poodle!!! those would be some great shots! (they have similar coloring)

Mandi Morris - I love that dorky dog, and I can sympathize with the bath robe incident. Our lab has put me in some compromising situations too!

Amber - Ooooohhhh, I love Waffle 🙂 I have a teeny 7 lb furry terrier I feel that same way about him and we always laugh at him when he gets a haircut…he’s going tomorrow 🙂

Katie - don’t cut his hair he looks so cute!!!!!! I love your dog!!

Lee Ann - Oh! I want a “waffle” so bad! Yes, I know he would make me mad, but it might also provide entertainment for the neighbors around here as well. Fun picture of you out there!

he’s a goldendoodle.

so many people ask when waffle makes a blog appearance "what kind of dog is that?"

IMG_2736
he's a goldendoodle.
he is 7 months old now.
he is gianormous and naughty.
but so darn cute you can't help but love him.

we have bible study at our house every sunday night.
this past sunday craig took waffle and the kids out to the country for some running around.
when they came back….waffle drank a ton of water…then fell asleep by the door.
an hour later our bible study group shows up.
i point to his kennel…he goes right in….like an angel.
bible study proceeds to go on about 5 feet away from his kennel.
i was upstairs dealing with a dvd for the kids and i hear craig yelling for me downstairs…and laughing.
i come down and walk right into a puddle of dog pee!
in my socks.
in front of everyone.
UGH.
he pee-ed in his kennel because he had waited so long.
and it was everywhere.

you know….even bible study is exciting at our house.

naughty dog.
(i know i know….it's my fault and he's not naughty…he's sweet and lovely)

to remind me of the cute stuff….let's look back at when he was a precious baby!

it's obvious why we love him.
even if i step in his pee in my socks…..
nasty.

naomi - OMG! my dog is a labradoodle and waffle is a spitting image of him! my puppy does the same thing but when he is excited. they are really smart too. he learned how to open the cabinet where his treats are kept with his nose and he knocks on the door when he wants to come inside! i love my doggie he is soooo cuddly!!!!

Kaira - I love our goldendoodle. I’m convinced they are the best breed ever! Our Remy is such a stinker but I love him anyways.

dolce chic - My goodness Waffle is adorable! I had never seen a goldendoodle before, I want one!!!

Heather Matias mhmatias1@hotmail.com or mymanymoments.blogspot.com - Where did you get that great molding for a shelf in your entry way. The one with the family pics on them? It is just beautiful! And where do you get the glitter hanging letters like the “wish” in you gift?
Thanks
Heather

Heather Matias - Where did you get that great molding for a shelf in your entry way. The one with the family pics on them? It is just beautiful! And where do you get the glitter hanging letters like the “wish” in you gift?
Thanks
Heather

Karen - oh yes, pee socks. I have some of those. I got them when I dared to take a shower before letting the dogs out one morning. Bad, Bad me! One of them peed right outside my bathroom door. (That’ll show me!) Love that dog you’ve got there! So cute!

melissa @ the inspired room - HA. Love that dog.
Saw you got featured on a big website, GO GIRL!
xo

Holly - what an adorable pup!

Michelle - Meg, love your blog, check it with a frequency that would completely diminish laundry piles here if my attention was diverted to the washer/dryer instead. Have started my own blog web.me.com/idealwife and wonder…would you mind if I post a link to you there? Thanks for all the inspiration!

Courtney - Waffle is a killer cute dog! That last puppy shot of him all fluffy and running around made my heart explode. I have to go love on my own cute pups now, have to fix the doggy itch. 😀

Meaghan - love that dog! my friend has one! girl, you’re on ohdeedoh AGAIN! they love you over there!

danyele - our friends had a goldendoodle that was the most gentle dog in the world…i love how cute they are!

3 Peas in a Pod - Waffle is such a cutie pie and I love the name. Sooo adorable. I have a yellow lab and although she’s very sweet and cute, she’s a handful. Always causing some kind of trouble. She’s my fourth child.

Shana - Look at Jett’s little gimpy leg…so easy to pick him out. They were so tiny…boy were we fooled!

Kelley - Get ready to submit pictures of Waffle on iheartfaces.blogspot next week…I think it’s “pet” week. You should also enter the other contests. You have some great pictures!

Amber - Waffle is so darn cute. How can you not smile when looking at that sweet face? (even if your socks are wet with his pee…ok, that is gross)

Donna - He is for sure one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen……….and the name “Waffle” is the CUTEST dog name to ever exist.

Sandy - Oh my gosh! I had completely forgotten how small he was when you got him!!! He seems to be a great dog and I still love his name! Very creative – just like you and your family!

amy d - BIG LOVES for waffle from auntie amy d & miley

Beth - We are getting a Golden doodle puppy in Feb. It will be a medium sized. We are so excited but a little nervous too! Waffle is so cute!

katy - That’s it!
I must have a new dog, we love our sweet precious dog/person…she’s 13 yrs. old………but heavenly hanna, I want this dog. What a cutie!!

Queen Bee - Hubby and I were just talking about dogs yesterday and I asked for a “waffle dog”, not that the two dogs we already have aren’t enough, LOL! “What’s a waffle dog?”, he asked, and I couldn’t tell him. Glad you cleared that up!
He reminds me of “Sandy” in Annie (the play), so he’s perfect for your house! 🙂
He’s sooooooooo darn cute!

Ruth Ann - He’s absolutely adorable! I just want to give him a squeeze! I’m excited because we’re getting a golden retriever in a couple weeks! I can’t wait til we can pick her up! Thanks for posting these wonderful photos! And waffle…what a cute name!

Jill Jones - Oh man! Wet socks are the worst, especially when it’s pee wet! Waffle is pretty darn cute!
Jill

alyssa - yuck. It’s bad enough when it’s because of your child…not the dog!!! But, I’d be lying to say I haven’t been there! The bright side is that you have a shiny new washer to throw those stinky socks into.

Sarah - He is SO adorable!
I want to love on him every time he makes an appearance here. I want a dog just like him someday when we have more room for more pets. right now, we’re maxed out.
I’m sure he makes for lots of laughter all the time!

Lorilee - He is so precious. I have stepping in puppy puddles too! That is why I wear crocs ALL the time. I would much rather wash them than get my foot wet!
Blessings,
Lorilee

Wendy - Adorable puppy pictures! And don’t you just love pee pee surprises? I brought home our new puppy right after we got brand new carpet… No, I’m not the brightest!

Wendy - Our goldendoodle was naughty too. Up until she was about a year and a half old. Then she calmed down considerably and was completely housebroken. They are high energy but SO loving and sweet. Love any Waffle appearances on your blog.

Jennifer P. - You can’t even scare me away from wanting one of those with the dog pee story 🙂

traci - that is pretty nasty, but he is just too cute. you can’t stay mad at him. don’t you wonder what you ever did without him now?

Trina - Yay!! Thanks, Meg.. I have always wondered if he was a goldendoodle! He is just too cute.. I love him because he looks like a cartoon or story book character!
Happy week to you!

kelly - My Roscoe is a poodle… and just as naughty and also just as lovable. 🙂 Aren’t you so thankful to have him?!?! 🙂 I love seeing pictures of him on your blog. Just such a happy sweet face… 🙂

Margaret - I just love Waffle and all pets for that matter. Thanks for sharing him with us.
http://www.margaretinsc.blogspot.com

Deb - My favorite pics of him are with that cone on. Poor thing!
Bible study could be even more exciting. At one of ours, the host’s dog laid down in the middle of the floor where we were and proceeded to lick and lick and lick…well, something that in my opinion shouldn’t even be possible to lick. Lol

Kate - ahh pets, gotta love ’em.
i only have cats currently, so i don’t usually have to deal with pee, but i think the ridiculous amounts of cat hair on all of my clothes makes up for that.

MGF - LOL… Great start to my morning.

elisa - Oh man I just want to kiss that fluffy little face.
I have stepped in my fair share of dog pee. This morning I had a big pile of dog puke to clean up. So glad I didn’t step in that!

Dani - Awwww… what an adorable dog. I wish we had one. My daughter is allergic, so no pets for us.
I am hosting a giveaway today for my 100th post. Come enter!

Marie - Waffle is so adorable! I’m not big into dogs (I know, right?), but the other day, our neighbor was walking hers and we couldn’t get over how cute he was…well, it was a goldendoodle-first time I had ever seen or heard of one (prior to yours now that I know what it is). So so cute!

Lanny Stanard - I love him too! what a doll I’m a dog lover… Have a great day 🙂
Lanny 🙂

Deputy's Wife - I am laughing because guess what I stepped in tonight too?!? Our “puppy” is naughty too, but is house trained very well. Until the rare occasion I forget to let him out. HA!

sarah - What a beautiful dog. I’m incredibly jealous… I want a goldendoodle soo bad… hubby says No. 🙁

Katie - Aw, your puppy is so cute!

ForeverFoldingLaundry - Friends of ours just got a goldendoodle & I thought their Buddy looked a lot like your Waffle! How can you not love that face – and the fact that he doesn’t shed? AWESOME. I’d take an occasional sock full o’doggie pee over daily lint rolling anytime. =)

IMG_2767

things feel a little crazy around here.
tonight there are 4 things on the calendar.
all at the same time.

the washing machine broke last week.
a sweet old repair man ordered a new motor for it and came back to fix it.
i ran a load and it died.
dead.
he said "well….i guess it your transmission…you'd better buy yourself a new washer"
we haven't done laundry since last saturday!

IMG_2762

sean and i were talking on wednesday night after church.

sean:   mom…if you could come back from Heaven would you want to?

me:     it's probably so wonderful there that i would want to stay sean.

sean:    i wouldn't.  you'd be a prisoner.
you'd have to wear sandals all the time.
            and sandals feel crappy.
and you'd have to wear ragged clothes.
i just want to wear my original clothes.

and then he left the room.

IMG_2748

Diana - Good grief, what are you people doin’ to that dog… ROTFL!!!!
Wait… OMG I can’t stop… ROTFL!!!!!!!
*gasp* And Sean is cutesy-funny-silly, too! Oh, don’t tell him that! LOL!

colette - this cracked me up- Now I dont feel so bad when I dress Pearl- the big black lab- in christmas red and white striped stockings or a bee suit at Halloween! This is soo cute.
Colette

Jenny - What fabulous photos. The dog ones are precious.

jerusalem - that is all too crazy. I love the heaven stuff. Pretty much all my reasons for not wanting to be a missionary when I was a kid. lol.

sarah - hahahahahaha

traci - first of all, the pictures are hysterical!! waffle is a trouper. and sean, what a vision of heaven he has. very cute. it will be fun to run that one by him in about 20 years, see if his ideas of heaven has changed at all.

Chrince - Waffles in glasses is the best. My husband saw it too and laughed and laughed.

Michelle - I hear you sister! I am so far behind that I am praying for a snow day just so I can catch up!

Jenny - SO SO cute! Love kid quotes. And cute dog pictures.

amanda - Funniest dog picture EVER! 🙂 I needed a good laugh this afternoon … Thanks!

Wendy - I love the picture of Waffles with the glasses! Love it! I hope you get some clean clothes soon. And I hope we don’t have to wear sandals in heaven. If so I hope they’re comfy and cute Borns. 🙂

Heather - I needed a laugh so badly today — the crappy sandal comment did it. Thank you Sean.
BTW — someone just went on our blog and totally chewed us out regarding our post — no idea who they were. We deleted the comments but doesn’t that seem in bad taste on a little baby’s blog??

Liz - Looks like cabin fever. 🙂
I was thinking of making the switch to Typepad.. any advice? I was looking at their ‘price packages’ and had no idea what any of it meant.

Dana @BoysMyJoys - Oh, Meg! We had a similar situation a few months ago with our washer. I cried! I was so sad to have wasted money to fix it, and it only lasted long enough to refill with water and dirty clothes!
Bought a top loading, top of the line Whirlpool Cabrio with no agitator. Hated it! It spun so hard that it wrinkled our clothes! Even after drying them, I couldn’t get the wrinkles out of the clothes! Imagine ironing t-shirts! The store (HH Gregg) let me exchange it for another type. This time I bought a fabulous front loading Whirlpool Sport. I’m in love with it! Wish I would have spent money on a bigger tub instead of buying the drawer/stand. The drawer, though convienent, seems to add to the shaking of the machine during the spins. It sometimes shakes hard enough to knock the folded clothes off the top of the machine. But despite it shaking, it works like a champ!
Good luck with the washer shopping! Just remember that a lot of the washers for sale now REQUIRE high-efficency detergents, that cost a little more. Otherwise, you set off a sensor and it has to be reset by an expensive repairman!

brooke - This post of your little girl and dog is so sweet. how precious and your dog seems to be very tolerant. what kind of dog do you have? It is beautiful.
BTW, i love your blog! i can’t wait to see what is next and your play room is brilliant!
Blessings!

Beth - Oh man I have had a dryer that has seen the repairman for the last 6 months and still has not fixed it…maybe the best thing is for me to just get a new one…my has not died just keeps cutting off while trying to dry so push the button to turn back on and then cuts off again…then we do the same thing over and then finally the clothes will be finish…such a pain!
Sean really is a smart kid if he is thinking about what to wear in heaven…I never thought of that before! Kids can think up really some questions that make you use your thinking skills.
LOL…that dog of yours is really enjoyong his play time or is he the one really going crazy! hehehe
Just wanted to tell you again…I just love your blog…so intesting, every post grabs my attention! keep on with it! Have a great day!
Beth

Shannan - I guess I never really thought about the requirement of wearing ragged clothes in heaven…Streets of gold and ragged clothes. 🙂 I remember thinking as a little girl that the best thing about heaven was that there would be apples bigger than my head. I think my big brother told me that, and it made a huge impression.

Suzanne - #1 so glad your friend is out of the hospital…
#2 how cool a time with your other girlfriends, which i’m starting to see you have a ton…i have to say, after getting to know you in blogland, who WOULDN’T want to be your friend…did you guys just rent a house for the weekend?? and walmart & sonic??? what else could you possibly need?
#3 that conversation could soooo be one with my son, jack! he can come up with some doozies & make it seem so off the top with his reasoning!
#4 good luck with washer shopping!! get a cute, colorful one…it so matches your personality! i just sent jack to school with dirty jeans because i haven’t washed since saturday…not because ours is broke, but just cause i haven’t:)
happy wednesday!!

Brooke - uummmm….hilarious!!! i love all the photos! bum about the washer situation….check out your area to see if you have a “scratch and dent” sears….c & i got our $3000 3 door refridge there for $1200 because of a golf ball size dent in one of the doors, but i cover it with a fun magnet and you would never even know it was there. they always have a ton of washers and dryers!! They can be difficult to find because they don’t usually list them on the sears website…but they are worth hunting down!

JulieKP - Coming out of lurkerdom to say that first picture is one of the cutest things I have seen in a long time.

Karen - ok…let me get this straight. the dog’s name is waffle? LOVE IT. the pics are great. love the wig of course.

Lee Ann - Picutres! Hilarious!!!!! thanks for the 5am laugh! Good way to start my day. And Sean….so funny. No sandals needed to walk on streets of gold 🙂 And good thing you just paid that guy lots of money so now you can buy a new washer. Big Sigh. Hope you get it figured out soon so you can find the bottom of your laundry room again.

Lanny Stanard - Okay that’s the funnyest thing I’ve seen in along time! waffle is a doll no matter what he’s wearing…
Lanny 🙂

Sandy - Love the pink wig!

Lisa - Hilarious! Poor washing machine. Enjoy the excuse for not doing laundry 😉 I don’t know if anyone else will see the resemblance, but Waffles looks like a tired Jon Lennon in the last photo – LOL!

Sara Ito - I am dying right now. Laughing so hard I may pee my pants. That was the best post I have seen all day. :0)

carissa - now that made me laugh! really great random goodness!
and oh how sorry i am about your darn washer! shoot! girl if you were close i would help you lug it over & we could tackle it together!

Carrie - If I can come stay with you for all the fun crafty things, I’ll do your laundry in return.
I think that is fair!

amy d - well thanks meg, (and jenn) my washing machine caught what your machines got and now mine is spilling water out of the bottom. maybe we could get a discount for multiple purchases 🙂 i laughed so hard at the pictures of waffle that i snorted 🙂 i bought a cute blond wig for miley after halloween for 95 cents, she didn’t sit nearly as still as waffle did, but it was too funny. sean and his sandles…priceless.

Jenny - I shared your blog with my sister b/c of your dog. She loves him (her?) too. What kind is it? 🙂

Rosemarie - Oh, good luck with getting a new washer sooooooon!
I wouldn’t want to leave Heaven, either. God has a craft room all set up for me, waiting. 🙂

Darby - meg.
that dog… he/she is too much. i’d like to spend some time with him/her. i know it’s a labradoodle but how old is it? i love it. i don’t want one… but i like yours! 🙂

Crystal - Cute photos! 🙂 And don’t you just love the thought patterns of kids. 🙂 Hope you enjoy your new washer…maybe now is the time to get one of those HUGE ones that does a ton at once…one of my good friends (with four boys) bought one and swears it changed her life. 🙂

Nichole - Love the photo of the dog with the eyes!
Sounds like its been a crazy week. I haven’t been able to do laundry either, but all the laundry machines work, I just haven’t had the change on hand to go use them.

jennifer - Out of the mouths of babes. I love it!
Our house is for sale. Has been for a while. My son says to me the other day, “Maybe God wants us to sell our house so that it will stay clean.”
Ya just gotta love ’em. They say the best things!
